He'll make plays blitzing this year. It's only 2 games in to the new system, give it some time.

Blitzing by Williams in this D will be an evolution. I've watched Kiel, who started at SS last year in San Diego. They situationally blitzed him at best.
Having a hybrid safety like Williams is an asset that Phillips did not have in San Diego.

Maybe I've missed it, but he hasn't even come close to the QB when blitzing this season. No matter who is picking up the blitz, Roy seems to hit an impenetrable wall.
