ESPN insider rumors saying Cowboys could target Brandon Marshall

I'm not sure Marshall is an answer. I would worry about him being a disruption to the team, though if we could do a straight up move of Roy for Him then I would probably do it.

if we didnt already have roy and this money tied into him i would love marshall on this team

fact is we already have roy's huge contract and no one is dumb enough to take roy in a trade. plus were gonna have to pay miles this summer

reading the article the writer did what they do as usual and thats mention dallas just to get attention

seems like a serious reach

It really does not matter who we have running pass patterns if our old pathetic oline is still here next season. Can Marshall teach the idiots up front how to block? If not I have no use for him.

Teams that are successful having solid lines on each side of the ball and intelligent QBs with playmaking abilities. I don't recall there being a lot of super bowl winning teams with a mouthy piece of crap WR leading the way.

The blue print was laid out this year. The garbage was sent out and better leaders brought in or developed because the garbage was put to the curb. Follow the plan, it obviously brought some improvement and some success. Tweak it with the right people and we may go farther sooner than later.

How about getting someone who can block?

Im not worried about our skill players.

What kind of moronic so called Cowboys fan want that piece of trash on our team - the year after we made a point of taking out our own trash?

Will another team on the cusp of greatness get involved? The Dallas Cowboys showed flashes of dominance this season, but didn't get what they needed out of Roy Williams: a true No. 1 WR. Again, this is speculative, but why wouldn't the Cowboys -- who have many pieces in place -- try to land Marshall?
Rock solid headline there, BSPN.

I'd love to see Roy Williams dumped and for us to draft a WR. I'd love to see a speedy slot WR in Dallas. I'm just tired of seeing and hearing about Roy.

I can not imagine this ever happening. The only way that it could is if they traded Roy for Marshall and then gave Marshall a new, long term, big money deal.

Which means the following...

1) Paying Roy money, still, even though he's no longer here.
2) Paying Miles Austin big money
3) Paying Marshall big money

So basically we'd be paying big money to 3 WRs when what we need is better FS play and more O-Line help?

Yeah I can't see that being the smartest approach either.

No MORE FOR ME PLEASE. Just look for a speedy guy (Kevin Martin type) like we had in the nineties who is as solid as a rock, and very fast.

In a fantasy trade I would love for us to trade our 1st round pick and Roy Williams back to Detroit for Calvin Johnson and their 4th rounder. Johnson is languishing away playing for the Lions. He was a beast @ Georgia Tech and could be a superstar playing for us. Lions are not using him right.

As long as my team keeps Tony Romo, Miles Austin, Keith Brooking, and hopefully some others I'm big fans of, I don't really care what they do, I'll be there to support them. Hell, I'll support them without those guys. I'm a big fan of Roy Williams though, but I understand he just hasn't produced thus far.

I would like to see this too. Jordan Shipley? Mardy Gilyard? Danario Alexander?

Roy aside, I agree.

I like Crayton but I would like to see someone much quicker there, who could also bring more speed to punt returns.

I would like nothing more than to see Jordan Shipley in the slot as a Dallas Cowboy.
