An actual football guy would recognize that owners and GMs have distinctly different responsibilities. Hopefully he'll learn something from his father's follies and accept his limitations. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

Funny, considering he and Jerry both have been in the league the same number of years.

Stephen is held in higher regard because he's done a great job behind the scenes, but if he were the face of the org as Jerry, he'd still get the same amount of heat as jerry.

That's not really true. I've read enough to know that Stephen is taking over more and more of the GM duties.

I guess I don't get why folks don't think Stephen or any of the other kids are just as responsible for what goes on in the Dallas Cowboys organization. Jerry signs off on, true, but they all contribute to making the Dallas Cowboys what they are...on and off the field.

Jerry Jr. does marketing. Charlotte manages the cheerleaders and she works with Gene (Jerry's wife) or charitable matters.

True, Stephen is quite involved with team from draft day and through out the season. At least based on what I have read as well as interviews with Stephen
