But that's never been the point -- no one has ever doubted their talent. It's always been a matter of whether they live up to their billing as a team.

And they don't for the most part. The fact that there are tons of great players who came from UT playing in the NFL only reinforces that point even further.

Mack Brown-run University of Texas teams are soft. It's obvious.

I don't agree with this at all. I'd say that QBs probably suffer from coaching but on the other hand, OLs, DLs, RBs, DBs, heck, there are plenty of good players that come out of that program that do well in the NFL. I don't love Mack Brown as a coach. I never have but, you can't say that Texas doesn't produce players. Heck, you want to look at a program that produces players who haven't had much success in the NFL over the past few years, that's OU.

I hope Newman goes in this game. It would just set my mind a little more at ease.

And if Austin really is playing that will be AWESOME for us.

We need Newman in this game, desperately. However-let's get real-groin injuries don't heal overnight. If he's not quite ready, be patient. It's only week 2 after all, and there's still a LONG way to go.

Just sit newman again...he's way to fragile to put on the field to early. Last thing we need is a lingering injury to Our top Corner.
