ESPN McShay: Thursday Buzz... Separation at cornerback

I might agree, but remember, if we ranked TNewman solely on INT's in his career, he'd be just another bum at CB. Some guys can cover but have no ball instincts.

Any data on how Newman did his last two years at KSU?

hopefully Aqib drops to 28

Kiper loves the guy and his playmaking skills. His talent evals are ususally okay, but hs draft order is screwed sometimes. McShay likes Aqib less, but does not hate him.

He has great ball skills and can be physical too. His technique is really poor though, especially for an All-American. And guys with "tight hips" can really get burned a lot at the next level. It wouldn't be the end of the world if we took him at 28 (better later), but there are others I'd much prefer to have.

I like Talib's ball skills. He reminds me abit of Bly who gambles to get INTs. My concern is his off the field issues. Now we got Pacman as a bad locker room influence.

Just give me Cason and call it a day. :D

Cason is ranked 41 on Gosselins top 100 list.

I was a bit surprised by that. Flowers was at 38.

Ray Rice was at 74. If we got him at 61, i would be estatic. I just won't believe it until I see it.

I really see us trading out of 28 for TAlanta's 2 second rounders though.
