Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy has decided to resume calling the team's offensive plays, league sources told ESPN, reclaiming a responsibility he gave to associate head coach Tom Clements in the offseason.

McCarthy is following the advice of people in the organization urging him to take over the task, but he had been reluctant to do so because it might create a negative perception about the performance of Clements and new offensive coordinator Edgar Bennett.

The head coach is considered one of the best offensive playcallers in the league. The Packers have struggled offensively since starting 6-0, going 2-4 in their past six games -- including consecutive losses at Lambeau Field.

He picked a good game to shake off some rust, didn't he? Going against the offensive mind in Garret-top is like taking candy from a baby...

yeah and basically he just ran the ball a lot, which was smart in that weather.
Dallas called plays like it wasnt raining , and continued that even though cassel could not throw a wet ball !
