Eli Manning is the most overrated QB in the league this year. Every mediot has this guy listed as better than Romo but so far he hasn't proven it.

The Giants won a SB and Manning played well down the stretch but that was one magical season when their D-Line was AWESOME in the playoffs. The other 3 years that the Giants made the playoffs they went one-and-done.

In that magical season of 2007, Manning led the league in INTs with 20! (Tied with Kitna & Palmer) Oops! And he had only 23 TD passes, compared with Romo's 36, which was 2nd behind Brady's amazing 50 that year. Manning's QB rating was a pedestrian 73.9 in 2007, but his team won the SB anyway.

Bah! :bang2:

stop using stats like a weapon:)

seriously... people get lead around based on perception.
eli is just short of awful. he is a bus driver plain and simple.

the giants had the best dl and a top 3 OL in 2007 plus 3 solid NFL RBs.

the hilarity is NOW they are trying to put draft choices into the receiving corps as if manning will be able to use them....

they were a running team with shockey, plaxi-gone and amani toomer... but now they are gonna pass with kevin boss, 2 rookies and steve 1 catch per game smith?

I'm sorry folks but Eli has proven it. He was a major part of their playoff push and eventuall superbowl win. I like Romo better and he is more exciting to watch but just because Eli plays for the Giants doesn't mean he isn't good. He is. Blind homerism is unbecoming.

and being wrong doesn't make you objective.

eli is no more talented than campbell.

he has had 1 pro bowl season and only 1 season with a qb rating over 80. he happens to have a very good OL and a top notch defense. plus he had plaxico as a top 5 WR.

mcnabb taking the eagles to a bunch of nfc championship games is impressive but eli winning 1 SB and doing nothing else in the playoffs ever isn't.

eli is 4-3 in the playoffs, with 185.6 yards passing per game, a 77.6 QB rating, 8 TDs and 7 INTS.

romo by comparison is 0-2 with a 195 yards passing per game, a 75.8 Qb rating and 2 Tds with 1 INT. Yet Romo is labeled a choker and turnover artist.

All I know is, I picked up Brees in the 4th round of my fantasy draft and ran away with it. Brees is a monster in fantasy yards. He'll rack up 125 yds in a quarter with ease. With Colston back and the receivers who filled in last year coming back, he may be the top QB taken.

Eli had one excellent stretch and, lucky for him, it got him a ring. He hasn't shown he can play at that level consistently, and I wouldn't bet on it happening this year.

I know folks here like to bash McNabb but he's much much better than Eli, even now with his career on the down slope.

I thought the write-up on Romo was pretty dead-on (except the 'big game' bash, which I don't put any stock in when I evaluate Romo or McNabb or anybody). And "knocking on the door" is right, too - if he ever manages to reduce the turnovers, watch out!

Sure Ben has an awesome resume. But if your picking QB's Romos better.
Peyton, Brady, M. Ryan, A-rod is who Id take over him.

I think Stafford is going to be elite too

You think Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers rank just behind Peyton and Brady?

They are who Id take over Romo all things considered.

Yea, I know Ben has 2 rings(and way more onion rings apparently).

But from a sofa scout perspective, thats who Id take in order
