I basically saw Spencer get a sack on Leftwich, if not for being held. CLEARLY being held, the replay actually shows him reaching for Leftwich and Spencer's body jerking almost violently back. The worst part was that the hold wasn't even called and it was right in front of the ref.

To me, Clinton Portis should be falling. After his first carry went for 30 yards, he did nothing. Completely disappeared.

When you are consistently hammering the snot out of a QB not getting sacks isn't the end of the world

Leftwich took a whoopin. If that game would have went another quarter, they might have had to stretcher Leftwich out.

Plus, he made out like Rich Seubert was facing Haynesworth all alone. Haynesworth was dominating his part of the line of scrimmage.

Seubert was left one-on-one with Haynesworth on just about every play, and he stoned Big Al for the most part. Seubert didn't move Haynesworth, but there weren't many plays where Haynesworth got enough penetration to make a difference.

I did miss the first Giants drive because of the early game, so I might have missed something from that drive.

Mosley has admitted on the radio he didn't even see the Cowboys play.

your right...he and Galloway were arguing about both teams having faults with their wins (Mosley for Giants and Galloway for Cowboys) and he admitted he didnt even see the game.....and further more he said the Giants didnt have any faults Sunday and the other guy with Galloway pointed out this very article where he had the The Giants' third-and-short offense as a fault ...Mosley got all high ptched arguing...sounded like the nerd he is....

I actually thought Haynesworth played well... The Giants had early sucess running the ball but they didn't get much after the 1st quarter.

Yup, I second the notion...clearly would have been sacked and was clearly held.

I worry a little about Albert lining up over Kosier but I am encouraged by the fact that Andre and BIGG will pummell him if he goes anywhere near them...

There's definitely a dropoff when he's out of the game. But he didn't get doubled that much. The Giants most often put Seubert on him and ran to the opposite side. Then Haynesworth ran out of gas towards the end, missing 11 of the final 20 plays of the game, not counting kneeldowns.

Here's my semi-objective play-by-play starting from the first play that Fox aired in my area on Sunday:

1q2:38 2-12 NYG 39 on the sidelines
1q1:53 1-10 Was 39 on the sidelines
1q1:24 1-10 Was 12 Bull rush - Seubert driven back 8 yards. O'Hara over to help, they seal him off and Eli completes to Smith for 7
1q0:45 2-3 Was 10 Gets a yard or two penetration but Seubert seals him off on-on-one. Jacobs for 2
1q0:01 3-1 Was 8 Seubert blocks him off the snap and he falls down. Jacobs no gain.
2q15:00 4-1 Was 8 Seubert and Diehl attempt to double, but Seubert gets too far upfield. Haynesworth scrapes the line and stops Jacobs inches short of the first down. Nice play by Haynesworth, and huge for the Skins with the game 3-0 NYG. Haynesworth slow to get up.

2q13:20 1-10 Was 44 Seubert chips and heads to the second level to seal McIntosh. Diehl is slow to pick up Haynesworth, who scrapes and is just a little too slow to catch Bradshaw on a run to the offensive right side (away from Haynesworth). Bradshaw for 2 yards.
2q12:47 2-8 Was 42 Singled by Seubert, Haynesworth get some penetration but isn't in on the tackle. Bradshaw no gain. Nice play by Haynesworth.
2q11:50 3-8 Was 42 Singled by Seubert, Haynesworth bull rushes, Seubert trips over Jacobs, but the ball is gone on a three count and Haynesworth can't get to Manning. Complete for 9 to Hixon.
2q11:10 1-10 Was 33 on the sidelines
2q11:04 2-10 Was 33 on the sidelines. Interesting that NYG call a timeout and Haynesworth is still on the sidelines when Fox returns from the break.
2q10:25 3-7 Was 30 Singled by Diehl. Gets some push, but the ball is out quick. Manningham for 30 yards and a TD.

2q8:19 1-10 NYG 25 Singled by Seubert. Gets some push on the pass rush but is handled by Seubert. Comfortable pocket for Manning who completes to Smith for 13
2q7:40 1-10 NYG 38 Singled by Seubert. Seubert handled him well. Complete to Jacobs for 9
2q7:00 2-1 NYG 47 Seubert pulls, O'Hara slides over to take Haynesworth, and Diehl chips him before peeling off to pick off the DE, who is in backside pursuit. Aikman says something stupid about Haynesworth blowing up Seubert, but really it was Diehl choosing to peel off that made it look like he got pushed back. Bradshaw off right tackle for 9. Haynesworth looks tired.
2q6:15 1-10 Was 44 Singled by Seubert. Pushes Seubert back a yard and manages a leg tackle on Bradshaw, who falls forward for 3. Good play for Haynesworth on a run away from him.
2q5:27 2-7 Was 41 Seubert heads to the second level as Diehl picks up Haynesworth, who spins and runs into a pulling Snee. The play was a counter, though, and Bradshaw runs to the right for 8. The Giants are running away from Haynesworth.
2q4:45 1-10 Was 33 on the sidelines
2q4:00 2-6 Was 29 on the sidelines
2q3:56 3-6 Was 29 on the sidelines

2q0:18 1-10 NYG 40 Singled by Seubert. No penetration but peels off to tackle Bradshaw after a gain of 3. Giants let the clock run out.

3q9:53 1-10 NYG 8 Lines up over O'Hara. Gets a push on O'Hara, but the pass is a screen. Haynesworth shows good hustle in trying to run down Nicks, who goes for 11.
3q9:15 1-10 NYG 19 Seubert tries to seal Haynesworth, but gets too far upfield again. Haynesworth is too slow to catch Jacobs, who runs to the right for 9
3q8:25 2-1 NYG 28 Blocked by Seubert, gets little penetration before Jacobs chips at the end. Manning goes downfield incomplete.
3q8:16 3-1 NYG 28 Singled by Seubert. Pushes Seubert back a half yard on the run, but it doesn't affect the play, which is blown up by a run blitz. Horton drops Jacobs for a loss of 5

3q3:42 1-10 NYG 10 Singled by Seubert. They stand each other up, and he slides off to get a hand on Jacobs, who falls for 2. Run was at Haynesworth.
3q3:00 2-8 NYG 12 Singled by Seubert. Gets almost no push, but Carter pressures Manning who throws an interception to Hall.

3q0:43 1-10 NYG 29 Singled by Seubert. Haynesworth pushes him back and drops Bradshaw for a 2 yard loss. Haynesworth looked dominant on the play.
4q15:00 2-13 NYG 26 Stunts and is picked up one-on-one by Snee. Doesn't disrupt the pocket.
4q14:52 1-10 50 on the sidelines
4q13:50 2-1 Was 41 on the sidelines
4q13:01 1-10 Was 34 on the sidelines
4q13:01 1-15 Was 39 on the sidelines
4q12:10 2-15 Was 39 on the sidelines
4q11:20 3-8 Was 32 drawn offsides 5 yard penalty
4q11:13 3-3 Was 27 doubled by O'Hara and Seubert. No penetration, but Doughty comes on the blitz and Manning throws it away.

4q9:23 1-10 NYG 24 false start
4q9:23 1-15 NYG 19 Singled by Seubert. No penetration, quick pass incomplete to Smith. Good play by Rogers.
4q9:18 2-15 NYG 19 Singled by Seubert. Gets some penetration but Eli is able to get the pass off with ease. Complete to Smith for 10.
4q8:30 3-5 NYG 29 Block intialliy by Seubert who turns him over to Diehl. Eli completes to Smith for 26
4q7:45 1-10 Was 45 on the sidelines
4q7:00 2-11 Was 46 on the sidelines
4q6:54 1-10 Was 41 Leans on O'Hara, no penetration, looks tired. Bradshaw right side for 1
4q6:10 2-9 Was 40 blocked by Seubert, tries a little twist with Griffin, who gets penetration. Eli steps up and hits Boss for 27
4q5:20 1-10 Was 13 on the sidelines
4q4:50 1-20 Was 23 on the sidelines
4q4:05 2-14 Was 17 on the sidelines
4q4:01 3-14 Was 17 on the sidelines

4q1:29 1-10 Was 47 Seubert pulls, Diehl blocks Haynesworth but he gets free about a yard deep. Jacobs runs through the arm tackle for 4
4q1:21 2-7 Was 44 Manning takes a knee
4q0:40 3-8 Was 45 Manning takes a knee

I watched the frist half and the Giants had a guard and center on Haynesworth much of the time and they were both moving backwards. I'm not a fan of his and I think he's a "contract year" player, but in that first half he was always at least a yard into the Giants backfield.
