Bubble butts are good. It means the owner of the buns has a good thrust.

Notice how this smiley :)bang2:) is humping the star? Felix Jones would do it better.

Mmm-k. Thanks for sharin'.

What is this a flashback to the Switzer years? I'm pretty sure Switzer was talking about how some WR had a nice big can. I forget the WR name, some guy who never panned out. Flemming maybe?

I thought we took Bennett in the second? What do I know, I'm just a poster on a message board and not a professional writer who goes giggity when Jerry mentions a butt.

We did take Bennett in the 2nd with our original pick at 61. A couple of days ago Stephen Jones revealed that we had tried unsuccessfully to trade up and get Limas Sweed. When he went off the board to the Steelers we stayed put and took Bennett.

I thought it was Hardy they were going after?

Sweed was my guy, that would make me feel worse!

..is going to surprise alot of people I think with how they expand the offense using two TEs that can play.

And interesting that apparently it was some weeks back that they decided to look at TE closely as a need.

Meaning Fasano was being taken out of the gameplans and marked for trade or camp cuts down the road.

Probably, it was already determined Miami would make a trade for him at the appropriate time.

Which triggered it all.

Bennett to me in a 2-TE offense for some power running and some redzone play has me looking forward to this.

While Witten and TO are going to definitely draw double coverage, Bennett is like a big tree out there with good hands to snag some passes in single or no coverage at times.

And as has been hinted, both he and Witten can be sent outside to lineup and both can catch passes matched up on CBs, whom they will typically overwhelm in size and power and ability to break their tackles after the catch.

Hmmm...drafting this guy Bennett possibly means more of an immediate impact to this offense and get a much larger number of game day snaps than maybe drafting that rookie WR we all wanted but who was going to end up on the bench in most scenarios and playing ST.

Personally, I think the Garrett offense is going to take a shift towards running the ball alot more now that Felix Jones is here and Bennett as a quality 2nd TE that will also play a part in the passing game.

And I think we will see Romo not having to throw the ball as much because we will lean on the this ALL PRO OL and the stable of backs we have with adding Choice as the 3 rd. RB and a short passing game consisting of the TEs and RBs to carry us and rather than the big play downfield as something we have to rely on.

Maybe this team does know what it is doing..?

Ya think..?

Jerry admitted to Mosley that there were 2 WRs we were after (see the original post, 3rd paragraph) and that one of them was Hardy. Stephen Jones mentioned we had our eyes on Sweed.

So Hardy and Sweed were the 2 WRs we had our hopes on. I liked both.

So did I.

And I understand the philosophy of drafting for 'now' but I also think this team needs to make a draft investment in the receiver position at some point.

If you can't 'risk' drafting one with a loaded roster and two #1 draft picks, when can you?

Redballexpress,

I dont expect the immediate impact with Bennett.

While I think he has a very high ceiling and can be a way above average TE right now he is just not polished enough.

He needs to hit the weights hard, and work on his ability to run routes.

Hes very very green but there is high potential there with out a doubt.

The irony in all this bubble butt stuff is that I just don't see it. Maybe I need to look closer, but Felix's butt just doesn't look that big to me.
