And even if it isn't TO & Crayton, it darn sure is TO & Witten.

End of discussion.

I have them at 6. But if Harrison isn't healthy then they do climb to 5 on mine.

1.Commanders just loaded with a whole lot of talent at WR
2.Cowboys Crayton still has to prove that he deserves to be a #2
3.Giants Buress and Amani is not better than Crayton but still good
4.Eagels have had this problem for a while

1. Moss and El had very few TD's. They are good #2 and #3. The other 2 guys are rookies who are not even playing right now. Its hard to say if they have talent or not. Moss is weak minded. How are you going to be a team leader and TAKE YOURSELF OUT OF THE GAME? That is pathetic.

2. Tops in the east easy.

3. These are #2 on the list. Similar to TO and Crayton just not as good respectively.

4. They also have a question mark. A lot will be known if McNabb stays healthy. they could end up being pretty damn good.

I predict Vincent Jackson and Chris Chambers will be up there by years-end. Jackson looks like a future perennial Pro-Bowler.

How can anyone say with a straight face that crayton is better than toomer?

That is laughable. Toomer is very good player. Crayton is a good player.

I think the giants are considerably better at wr. They have a very well put together offense.

I know it is hard for many to admit but, I think burress and toomer are better because I think toomer is that much better than crayton. Owens is better than burress but not as much as toomer over crayton IMO.

and oh by the way I like crayton, I just dont think he is anywhere near the skill level of toomer.

Fact alert.

Stats from last year.

Crayton had 50 catches for 697 yards and 7 TD’s with a 13.9 average.

Your boy Toomer had 59 catches for 760 yards and only 3 TD’s and a lower 12.9 average.

So you would trade 63 more yards in receptions for 4 TD’s and a higher average per catch? Just checking.

if you add TE, we are definitely the class of the East and maybe NFC.

Crayton runs his mouth but he also has great hands and makes agile tackle breaking maneuvers in the clutch, not a speedster but neither was any Cowboy great not nick named "Bullet" or "Rocket".

I went and compared the stats for the two, too. They're comparable players right now, and Toomer also had another 3 TDs in the playoffs (they played more games, grrr). No doubt about the fact that these guys arrows are pointing in different directions right now. Crayton's looked pretty dang good in preseason, too.

It's really pretty easy, because today, he is

That is laughable. Toomer is very good player. Crayton is a good player.

Toomer WAS a very good player and very underrated...but he will be 34 in a few days, has almost no speed left at all and had 4 pretty mediocre seasons in a row..last 3 seasons yds per catch, 11.4, 11.3 & 12.9...last 4 seasons TOTAL has 13 tds, including a goose egg in one of them.

I think the giants are considerably better at wr. They have a very well put together offense.

guess your entitled to your opinion, they might be deeper, but their starters are definitely not better

I know it is hard for many to admit but, I think burress and toomer are better because I think toomer is that much better than crayton. Owens is better than burress but not as much as toomer over crayton IMO.

we'd have to agree to disagree, because Crayton is younger, faster, has just as good of hands and has gotten better every yr he's been in the league...I doubt any football GM would even remotely consider a Crayton-Tommer straight up swap, because Crayton is the better player today and has far more career in front of him, and still has upside

and oh by the way I like crayton, I just dont think he is anywhere near the skill level of toomer.

you can have Toomer...I'll be quite happy with Crayton...is Crayton better than Toomer was from 99-03, no...but is he better today, absolutely...people forget how long Toomer has really been around, but he was a rookie in 1996

I'll be next in line to bash this opinion. Even people at ES are unhappy with their receivers. Moss had one good year several years ago and hasn't done much since (he cost them at least one game last year with poor turnovers). Randle-El is a glorified number 3 receiever who has been pretty mediocre as a Commander. Thomas is a rookie who has been injured and criticized by his head coach. There's no was a second round receiver can be considered a lock to be a good NFL player. And Kelly has such bad knee problems that I'd be shocked if he had a long, productive career.

Man, if Crayton had just made that one catch in the postseason this would not even be a discussion. Crayton is way underrated and, judging by his performance this preseason, he is ready for one heck of a season this year.

T.O. is second (maybe) only to Moss right now. Plax is probably top ten on the receivers list, but not close to T.O.s level. Crayton/Toomer is probably a wash based on last season, but I suspect that Crayton will change that this year.

Just one man's opinion.

Its actually pretty sad, we are the best of the worst though when it comes to receiving cores.

If you would step back and look at our group as a whole, you'd see that it ranks fairly high overall in a 32 team league.

1. Moss and Welker

I'm not too sure these guys are at #1 for me. Moss is great no doubt but welker was not a starting wr prior to the 2007 season. He's a helluva PR but if we're talking about wr combos then I think it's a factor. I'm not sure but I think Stallworth was the pats #2 (maybe Nors can verify that? :laugh2: J/K ) this will be Welkers first season starting at #2 and I would think the CB play will be much different at that position.

T.O. is just as good as Moss if not better to me so if Moss is good enough to bring Welker up to #1 with him then certainly T.O. is good enough to drag Crayton up to top 5 with him. I think we'd probably agree at wr in this league theres Moss and T.O. at the elite level and then everyone else so I'd see it like this.

1. Moss and Welker
2. T.O. and Crayton
3. Fitzgerald and Boldin
4. Housh and Johnson

Wow TO and Crayton > Boldin and Fitz is crazy. Just look at some of their numbers and then come back and change your mind. Boldin had one of his worse season and still out performed Crayton who had his beast season. I wouldn't put our duo in the top five.
