ESPN Mosley: Why is Jerry Jones the only owner pursuing Pacman Jones?

I really do not think that people understand what a thug is.

I do not believe that Jones goes into these bars thinking "Hey I am going to start a bar fight." Instead he goes into these bars gets drunk and then gets mad about some perceived slight or wrong. Typically that someone stole something from him. Drunks are after all lose things all the time.

As far as I can tell there is no premditation to what Pacman does. He just does some very stupid things.

When I think of a thug; I think of Rae Carruth or the gun toting freaks.

Pacman is a thug who will tremendously improve the Cowboy's secondary, least until he's suspended again right before the playoffs.

Fixed it for ya.:D

Now it's fixed . . .

Because he wants to win a Super Bowl
Bottom line-That's all that matters. Jerry's going to do whatever he thinks is necessary to win a Super Bowl.:lombardi:

Pacman will play here next season and he'll play well. We've dealt with much more suspect players than him in the past.

Such as?

I know thugs better than anyone in here. Trust me, it's not worth winning if you have to hire a thug like Jones to do it. I'd rather wait and win with repectable players who are not surrounded by criminal activity and criminal tendencies.

Is it true they never caught the guy who shot that man and left him paralyzed?

If so then when they do catch him and if he says Pacman told him to do it then thats probably 1 of the many reasons why no other teams want him.

Packers interested in Pacman too?

The Packers are reportedly interested in suspended CB Pacman Jones.
Commissioner Roger Goodell said Monday that multiple teams have asked about Jones' potential reinstatement. So Dallas does have competition. Still, it's hard to imagine Packers GM Ted Thompson giving up much in the way of draft picks. The Cowboys remain the heavy favorites to land Pacman.

I'm calling bull.

If increasing the price Dallas has to pay only costs Green Bay a phone call, the GB GM has to contact Tennessee.

Amazing that the other 31 teams don't want to win a Super Bowl.

Did he say that the other 31 teams didn't want to win a super bowl?

Or was that your idea?

It looks like it was your idea.

So I guess wanting to win a Super Bowl has nothing to do with it then?

So now Pacman is the same as a brutal double murderer.

Right.

(for the record .... I do not want him either .... but if he comes here I will give him the benefit of the doubt.)

He's comparing the the fact that neither has been convicted, not the crimes they were not convicted of.Pay attention! It's really not that difficult.

:D at the thought of Pacman being forced to live in Green Bay...

That, or Jerry sees the obvious need for help in the secondary and is willing to gamble....

Where as other teams might not have such a need or the desire to gamble.

Gambing on Pacman is definitely what this team needs, or something.
