Was reading an ask-me-anything yesterday from Fred Smoot where he said again that Eli was amazing before the snap in not having any tells and not giving anything away to the defense. I've heard this before, too. It probably plays into how he's got the luxury to chuck up passes and have it be successful. It's also why it's harder for us fans to appreciate some of his skills, since we just see him floundering around and appearing to get lucky. A QB not having any tells is not exactly an easy thing to pick up on from a tv broadcast.

The guy obviously has "some" ability but there is a reason he has led the league in interceptions multiple times and that his career QB rating is like 42nd all-time (despite being around during an era of high ratings). He is inaccurate, makes poor decisions, and is simply not that good. I live in NJ and have seen a majority of his games. He is VASTLY overrated and got incredibly lucky a couple of times in his career thanks to his defense, a crazy catch, and multiple critical drops/fumbles by opponents. Not to mention his team fumbled 3 times in that last SB and lost none of them. Unbelievable.
