Do we? Johnny Football can't even hold a starting job due to mediocre play while he's on the field and issues off the field.

As for Robert Griffin, he had one really good season in this league and injury plagued since. He didn't play terribly in 2014 in a pro style offense. Is he a starter? No. A good backup? I'd say he ranks highly on the list.

I'd rather take a rookie at four and keep Moore as three

If JFF becomes a Cowboy......I'm done.

No........seriously.

That's the straw that will break the camals back. There will be an epic burning of all Cowboys gear come that day in Boise, Idaho.

I couldn't be more serious. o_O
You fellas up there in Boise got yourselves a fine young QB I wouldn't mind seeing here someday. I saw a handful of Rypien games this year and was very, very impressed with what I saw. The young man is only going to get better.

Manziel coming to Dallas knowing he will be riding the bench and that it's likely his only chance to get it together doesn't bother me.
He was a grossly irresponsible, raging alcoholic in a situation where he was competing for, and eventually given, the starting job.

What in the world makes you think there's a rat's chance in hell he gets it together when he knows he's the backup???!?

My point was he would be relied upon except in emergencies. I expect Romo to play at least 14 games, so I am not worried.

Not interested in an immature, alcoholic fratboy.

And the demands to bench Romo for Manziel after he throws a pick would be unbearable. I don't think I could stand it.

Why not go after Gabbert? now that the Chipster will be trying to revive Kapernick. I want no part of Manziel or RG3.

Sounds like he's using the same reasoning that declares the Pats innocent victims of Goodell . . . . . .

RG3 in done. He is a locker room problem and he can't pass in the pocket. Johnny does have the chance to turn things around. He is just a kid at this point in his career with plenty of upside.

:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

This thread is about Johnny Manziel. It has absolutely nothing to do with New England. Please show the OP some respect and not completely hijack it. TIA.

QB is clearly the most important position on the team, so if there is a guy at 4 we think can be a future franchise QB, let's take him. Manziel or RG3 as a backup would be fine, but both of them will be looking for someplace they can start, IMO.

That's how I feel too but it'll be tough. Titans just drafted their QB of the future so they won't select one, but they could always trade out. SD and Cleveland would also be likely to grab a top QB if available, certainly Cleveland.

The only QB I'd truly be excited to get is Goff, and I don't see him making it to 4.

I just can't see Romo not missing multiple games every year for the rest of his career, our backup is going to play a lot, no to Manziel or RG3.
