These odds are kind of confusing to me. I guess it's not baking in the assumption that the 49ers rest their starters, but the Rams should be the favorite.

It would be awesome if the Saints won and both Seattle and GB lost - those offenses will present a lot of problems for the Cowboys.

Think it was Niners 3.5 Sunday night. Books never know how to handicap Week 18

Could be.

I imagine that line will move if/when Purdy, CMC, Williams, Deebo, Kittle and Aiyuk are all out. The 9ers would be stupid to play anyone, especially with how last season ended and their 3-game skid when they were banged up earlier this year.

Rams, Packers, Seahawks all about the same. They all won and lost to mediocre teams lately.
If we get the 2 seed. Who would you rather play?

GB who seem to be hot, but who have they really played in those wins. Love in his first playoff game on the road.
Rams who we destroyed, but was a while back, and they been playing much better.
Seattle, who we edged out a win, thanks to our own mistakes though as well.

Or, heck even NO has an outside chance at #7.

Interesting. I guess ESPN is assuming SF plays at full strength against LAR.
The DVOA playoff odds report assumes SF will rest their starters and so they have very different projections:
GB 39.6%
SEA 34.1%
LAR 11.8%
NO 11.6%
MIN 2.8%

Resting for two weeks is a big risk though. Id play the starters for the first half and sit them the rest of the game.

Also, the Rams may rest people as well considering they already clinched.

Eh, not as big a risk as CMC furthering his injury or something.

I guess maybe the Rams don't care where they play, or probably would even prefer to go to DET.

What has to happen for the Vikes to make it? Sea, NO, GB all lose, and Min win, I take it.

Rams could beat SF is SF is resting their starters. McCaffery is out! Green Bay beating Chicago and Rams beating the 49ers seem very likely.

GB is 2-2 in December, losing to the Giants 24-22, Bucs 34-20, and wins Carolina 33-30, and Vikes 33-10.

I wouldn’t call them hot. Meanwhile the Bears are 3-1 in December beating the Lions, Falcons, and Cardinals.

Which they may get. SF may rest some players, and CMC already been ruled out. If Purdy still having any issues with the stinger, he will sit as well.
..I would play there arse. Not enough stingers going around.. ;)..

The first playoff game for Dallas has to still be set...

Green Bay my guess.

2nd playoff game for Dallas looks like Detroit for me...

Oh, and they would avoid playing the San Francisco 49ers until the NFC Championship Game. Two home games first.
