The Cowboys do not look like the same team that beat the Rams the first time they played. The way they are playing now, and coaching, anyone on that list can beat Dallas. I don't want to see Seattle again. They picked on Bland badly. Bland has been a liability since he got his 5th pick 6.

These odds are kind of confusing to me. I guess it's not baking in the assumption that the 49ers rest their starters, but the Rams should be the favorite.

It would be awesome if the Saints won and both Seattle and GB lost - those offenses will present a lot of problems for the Cowboys.
Rams are in the playoffs, most likely as the #6. We're probably getting Green Bay.

GB is 2-2 in December, losing to the Giants 24-22, Bucs 34-20, and wins Carolina 33-30, and Vikes 33-10.

I wouldn’t call them hot. Meanwhile the Bears are 3-1 in December beating the Lions, Falcons, and Cardinals.
The only thing that makes me nervous about GB is that Aaron Jones is back to full strength, and he and Dillon could run all day against us.
But the same thing makes me nervous about the Rams with Kyren Williams and their running scheme. Last time we played them, Williams was out and we forced them to abandon the run early.

Rams, Packers, Seahawks all about the same. They all won and lost to mediocre teams lately.
If we get the 2 seed. Who would you rather play?

GB who seem to be hot, but who have they really played in those wins. Love in his first playoff game on the road.
Rams who we destroyed, but was a while back, and they been playing much better.
Seattle, who we edged out a win, thanks to our own mistakes though as well.

Or, heck even NO has an outside chance at #7.
All three have bad defenses. Green Bay probably has the most overall talent but they are the youngest and least experienced. All three could beat us if we don’t come and play.

I wouldn't mind matching up against the Rams if they made the 7th seed. Our Cowboys beat the Rams pretty good back in October in Arlington. No reason to think it would not be any different a second time around at home in Arlington once again.
The Rams played without Kyren Williams in that game. Since he returned to their lineup, the Rams have won five of their last six games, with the one loss coming to the Ravens in OT on the road. They are a much different team now compared to when the Cowboys met them.

hmm, all Packers have to do is beat Bears. and Seattle is out. Rams will probably lose to SF
Does San Francisco have any reason to play? I'd have to ask, do the Rams care if they are a 6th or 7th seed? Will they take the week off too? Because if the Rams play to win, they're going to beat the 49ers backups.

Green Bay also has Joe Barry as their defensive coordinator. Barry makes Mike Nolan look competent in comparison.

not sure, but they may not want to go into post season with a loss. fine tune your play. and they may end up seeing rams again. who knows

I would assume the Rams want the 6th seed because they don't have to play Prescott at home and it gives them the only chance for them to avoid the 9ers in the divisional game if the 7th seed upsets the Cowboys

Books don’t know how to handicap week 18?? Lolol. Book slaughter the betting public final week of the season
It has to be really hard for them to put out opening lines. The Ravens are getting 3 points at home against Pitt. The fools that bet the Ravens will pay.

The Bengals are -6 VS Cleveland for the same reason. The Browns and Ravens might not be playing starters.

Either the Rams are going to play to win, or both teams are taking the week off. That's why the line is 49ers -3. Who knows? But I can't remember the last time a #1 seed played their starters in a meaningless last game of the season.

Out of all of them the one team I don’t want to see is Seattle. They gave us a good run. I think we still beat them in the playoffs but that game was tight.

Of course. You can tell by the lines. You think they post those lines in the hopes certain teams don't play their starters? This should be a big money week for them. A lot of people will be fooled into thinking they got a great line.

So why are you saying they struggle week 18?

I only said that because the week is totally different than any other week concerning lines. But that doesn't mean they'll lose money.
