News: ESPN: Overturned catch least of Dez Bryant's problems in first half

This offense has had a lousy season because it is an awful offensive scheme led by an awful head coach.

To focus on Dez is like focusing on the transmission of a car that has no engine.

But he's black and gets frustrated easily and has had a shady past, so it's all good to rag on him.

I don't get this post. Are you making fun of Stephen A Smith or something.

Just like the Tampa game.

He has had a lousy season and he has to think hard in the offseason about how serious he wants to take this game. Jerry Rice or Ocho Cinco?

Next year will be year 7. He will not crack the top 20 in receivers

Dez had a seriously bad day. He had some balls hit him in the hands that he should catch. That's what he's paid to do is correct for QB mistakes. Cassel sucks. Flat out he's inaccurate and seems to be a single read QB. The oline had an uneven day. The backs were alright but had some errors also.

The biggest gripe I have and I'm not sure if its a Cassel issue, a recievers issue or a scheme issue, and its running routes 1-4 yards short of the sticks on 3rd down pretty much every time and expecting to break, usually, multiple tackles. ]

The defense, I'd argue was good until the very end when they had spent 40 minutes on the field.

Its not just been this game...he hasnt caught more than 5 balls in a game all season, hes went over a 100 yards once, hes hasnt caught more than 4 in the last 4 games...2 tds total in 8 games....this is the 1st week of fantasy playoffs and I benched him (for the Cleveland TE, let that sink in)...thank God, I did.

I was in awe at how bad the qb play was today. Whether that's Cassel, receivers, offensive scheme, Garrett or all of the above. But wow, terrible qb.

So yall going to pile on Dez lol. This season hasn't mattered since Week 2 when Romo went down. I chalk up Dez as part of the season that just wasn't our year. Hell who knew benching Weeden was the wrong move? Who knew present day Peyton Manning has a better arm that Cassel? Saying Dez doesn't care is pretty idiotic.I could buy unfocused. Not caring, nah.

I see a Wr that was just going through the motions with no desire to be great. Routes were sloppy and he dropped too many balls to be considered elite. 88 should be embarrassed with his play today. He may as well drop the X too because all I saw was Throw Up.

I was talking about the media. I was talking about Joe Buck and how he called out Dez multiple times today for his frustration. He had three passes that were catchable, all three of them not the easiest in the world to catch, especially on a rainy day.

The entire offense is in shambles. Why is there an entire article on Dez as if he's the problem?

I agree with this. It's obvious that this team is failing miserably at the coaching leve yet ESPNs first article is all about Dez. He is an easy target and Garrett seems to be the Teflon Don.

Dez contributed to the loss, certainly, but the lack of an unpredictable offensive game plan has killed this team for any game where Mr Romo wasn't under center...

According to the stats I just looked at, Dez has caught less than half the balls he's been targeted with. Not a great thing for a top NFL receiver.

Don't think it's effort, just scheme issues. He had 3 drops today but it happens. Troy mentioned what a lot of us have said and that's we need to take advantage of Dez in single coverage. We move Dez around and he's still not targeted much especially in single coverage. Last week, he was being covered by a WR/CB however we respected the corner as if he was Deion Sanders.

No. It is effort. He half *** runs his routes. He doesn't go all out for balls thrown his way. He killed his team by holding out. Getting fat and out of shape. Not being ready for the 1st game of the season. Like he was just gonna stroll out there and dominate. Instead he got winded in the 1st half. And the fatigue caused his foot to break. Then he comes back and just sucks.

Dropping passes. Not running good routes or even trying to get open. That is definitely resulted from a lack of effort. Then with the big mouth. And the monkey. Etc etc. The dude is a clown. He's a joke. And he's supposed to be the leader of the team? HahahahahahHahahHhHhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!

Any other true leaders and elite players on Super Bowl Champion teams own any monkeys? I mean seriously?? A godamn monkey????

He's got unlimited talent, but this is probably the only time I have ever felt that he's relying solely on it to get by.

Not to pile on Dez but he's been horrible this season. I'm a huge dez guy but as a fan I jump on anyone and call it how I see it. He can't get any separation and his route running looks lousy and lazy.

Maybe because he held out, got paid a ton of money, and he is not catching passes that he usually makes look routine. He is not living up to his contract. Hopefully Julio Jones was right and he is still not 100%.

Just to be clear, so you think he is playing at the level that he has shown be us capable of?

Dez needs to get benched. He was absolutely worthless today, and other than the Miami game he's been terrible all season healthy or not.
