I don't care how he wants to wear his hair. If he comes in and performs like Kiper thinks he will, he could have Dennis Rodman hair for all I care.

alot of "experts" are saying this kid will be better than ware

Don't mean to stir anything up, but I haven't seen anyone say that at all.

Ware is stronger, faster, and has even more upside than Spencer. Not to say Spencer isn't going to be a great player, but Ware has the higher ceiling if you ask me and I'd imagine 95% of others you'd ask would agree.

Ware is just that good.. now you add Spencer on the other side, and baby Eli is soiling his pants already.

If you think Ware is stronger than Spencer, you need to go back and check your notes again....no freakin' way.

I think Spencer will be a better pure pass rusher, more natural and more power to go with the speed moves...however, I seriously doubt that he'll be the LB that Ware is overall. I think he'll start off as a situational pass rusher.

Check out their combine numbers....this kid was very very strong for a DE.

It actually makes him more aerodynamic, gets him to the QB about .2 seconds faster.

Those are the shots of the fruits of a dream come true. I can only imagine the relief and excitement he must have felt at the same time.

Great pics theogt. I listen to the phone call and honestly he sounded a bit disappointed. Maybe he was just wowed into a lull, but I think he wanted another team to draft him. I'm sure he is damn happy to be in the NFL, and he will learn how lucky is was to be drafted by the greatest team in all of sports.

He didn't sound disappointed to me. He sounded like he was really trying to keep his cool. When Jerry said he was a Cowboys now, he replied, "Is that what's up?" I think he really wanted to scream like a little girl, but that wouldn't be macho enough, so he showed some restraint.

As far as all the comparisons people are making between Ware and Spencer, I think they will complement each other very well. Their numbers even mirror each other: 94 and 49 . I really look forward to our new defense under Coach Phillips.
