A quick observation of quarterback Tony Romo and how he played in the Dallas Cowboys' 24-20 win against the Detroit Lions in the wild-card round. Romo has learned to appreciate the art of the throwaway. That wasn't always the case in his career, but he showed in Sunday's win against the Lions he would not be forced into making unnecessarily difficult throws as long as the game was close. In the regular season, Romo completed less than 61 percent of his passes just once -- 60.
