Whenever ESPN has a slow news day, they throw out some trumped up Cowboys story. They'll promo the heck out of it throughout the day and even through the first 40 minutes of Sportscenter, then drop a weak little story based on heresay.

When you need viewers, just yell Cowboys!, Cowboys!, Cowboys!
