Seems right but to me 49ers should be higher and what am I missing about the Browns? Top 10 roster? Interesting...

If that went to 'form' we'd end up with: Saints, Eagles then 49ers in the play-offs. The battle with the Eagles (which on paper's a closer match than last year) is going to yet again define our season.

ESPN is hopeless. Not worth the time to read. PFF has far more intelligent rankings.

Dope or Dov...or whatever his name is... has SF roster at 8? What planet is he on? I guess with all their budget cuts they flushed the last of the brains.

I'm Ok with this........some may put the 49ers ahead of us and I wouldn't disagree, but the questions regarding their QB position are hard to overlook.

This list almost gave Cowturd a heart attack. He predicts the Eagles beat the Cowboys twice. Thinks Cowboys only have two good players on defense.

Yeah I have a hard time believing the Dolphins are the 4th best team in the NFL.
yeah well they are not saying that, it is about the roster lol.

So like miami it is a insult to the coaches, as they have a top 4 roster but finish down around 10

Weighted with the QB or the Chiefs do not make the top 3. However, I have never seen a team more dependent on the QB so the weighting might be justified.

The two top-ranked NFC teams are from the same division? I disagree. The 49ers belong in the top two.

Should never put "intelligent" and "rankings" in the same sentence.

There's nothing intelligent about rankings. They're silly clickbait to fill time and space and remain relevant to the mindless masses when there aren't games on TV to watch at the moment.

Winning requires comparitively good players, sure, but it's more about culture, injury attrition, preparation, and ultimately executing when it matters most.

Some teams have that, and some teams don't.

Wait, Dallas is rated 2d in the NFC. Obviously they never heard about Jerry Jones or Dak Prescott... :muttley:

SF 49ers, lost a lot of players, more than many think. They did not replace very many of them, and had a horrible draft. As well, the QB position is up in the air.
We do not know what Lance is at QB, and Pursy was riding a pretty dang goos defense and a team that was hot. How wil he be in year 2.
They lost both OC & DC as well.

Same for the Eagles, but at least they possibly replaced some of what they lost. As a good draft, or seems to be, but also lost both OC & DC. I have no issue with them at #2. However, they could easily be #5 as well.

Not sure where the Dolphins came from to be that high. But it is just another opinion list.
Have no issues with it.

In real football? I would go Eagles, 49ers, Cowboys, then a toss up.

Just simply ranking talent? Dallas has a more rounded roster. I believe if Purdy puts up another good year, I can see it. I believe our corners, safeties (Hufange is probably the best overall safety) and depth put us over them.

But right now their QB is more questionable than ours.
