I know Purdy had his run but if you read a lot of these analyses the one theme for the 49ers seems to be that many in football still question Purdy or Lance or whomever ends up under C at some point this season.

DE? One side elite. Other side is unknown
CB depth is bad and Ward isn’t an elite #1 corner

I am not doubting them or Shanahan. They’ll win their division and be a 1-2 seed. But I don’t see them being as good as last season.

And there is always some surprises and disappointments based on last year . Time will tell.

Yep.... Purdy has a big season in front of him to prove where he belongs.

A QBs 2nd season is always very telling...now that other teams have an offseason to break him down

Also....still wondering about his injury. He is not some jacked up athlete. He looks like a dude you'd see at Walmart. Curious to see how is arm is....after almost getting ripped off

If this is about the roster as a whole .... my biggest complaint is with the Chiefs.

IMO...they have a slightly above average roster....and then Patrick Mahomes.

You remove the QB from each team and rank the rosters....the Chiefs should fall out of the top 12 or 15 IMO

I was under the impression his injury could keep him out this season.

Also, this is a new season. If he does play, I think people will finally see he was rather overrated.
