As someone abused by an alcoholic, I don't find accusing someone like Romo of being one funny.

I hate that you experienced that, but his comment in no way suggested Romo was an alcoholic or gambler. And while the joke didn't make me ROFL, it was still a joke.

I know you disagree, but it was clearly more a shot at John Daly. Especially since Romo doesn't even have a history that Daly does.

That said, Romo's not above a joke or two, even one that implies that he might drink or make a wager while playing golf.

It was not a joke, it was a shot at a player and it was undeserved. Romo is not an alcoholic. Daly is. Romo is not a gambling addict. Daly is.

He wasn't talking about friendly wagers and cocktails and Romo was not excluded.

I don't believe you were joking. It is really that simple and I think you directed it at Romo as well as Daly and I don't think that was cool.
