What about Sam Hurd as our #3 receiver. He was good enough to be our #3 in 2007 when we went 13-3. Not to mention Kevin Ogletree is entering his third year and has hopefully matured.

I like Hurd but he has had oppurtunities to shine and just has not gotten it done. I would be very surprised if they were counting on him to be #3.

Even the rookie we got could take over that role, it's not like Roy was contributing much. Given half a chance i'm sure even Hurd could do better

none so blind as will not see. Very few rookie WRs - even highly drafted ones- do much their first year or two. Hurd has not gotten it done when given the chance.

No thank you. And I really like Sam. I honestly wouldn't mind if he stayed as our 4th-5th WR for 5 more years. But he's not a guy you want to rely on in your base 3 WR offense. Good 4th-5th WR and STs guy. But not a good 3rd WR.

Maybe this Harris kid from ECU can develop. Plax anyone???
