ESPN: Roy Williams Released

Why do you hate TO?

After going through the trouble of getting rid of head cases why would Dallas look to bring one back in?

Finally. What a horrible trade that was. Williams will go down as one of the biggest failures by Jerry Jones.

I would go after Lance Moore or Malcom Floyd.

Bingo!!

I'd much prefer the Giant's Steve Smith.
He had microfracture surgery on his knee. If he comes back it might not be until next year and it very well could be the end of his career.

Didn't know that. Thanks.

That being the case, I'd take one of the Saints receivers.

I hope we let these young guys compete and let the winner have it.

I like that rookie from ECU.

Ya I do to... I think we're good at wide out... no reason to have big money in a #3 wide out with a hard cap. I like Dwayne Harris and Hurd. We already have Dez, Austin, Witten.

We also have Felix and Demarco. I think this extra money needs to be used to balance out the team by upgrading secondary and O-Line. We have enough firepower at skilled offensive positions.

Well Dez not carrying Roy's pads won't happen again :laugh2:

I'm sure Dez made up for it by carrying Roy's bags to his car.

If Cowboys go after a WR in free agency, it's going to be for a proven slot guy. Miles and Roy and Dez were too much alike. They need a smaller, quicker Welker type who can go across the seam and run after the catch. Steve Breaston would be ideal, especially since he can also return kicks, but he's probably looking for a starting gig. Lance Moore is a good suggestion.

Any way we can trade that late round pick back to San Diego for Crayton?

What a stupid move that was.

Given some comments Crayton has made, No I don't think Dallas is interested

Looooooooool, where is TwoDeep?

He was guaranteeing folks that Roy Williams wasn't getting cut, and practically banning people for dare saying he was a disappointment.

RandyWhite, are you there too?

Have to assume Jimmy Robinson has told the club that there is a receiver in free agency that he feels could develop/rejuvenate themselves under the right circumstances i.e. his coaching.

Doubt they go with rookies or Tree/Hurd as the 3.

Have you heard what Crayton has said since he's left?

James Jones. Packers 3rd WR.

I know it's never going to happen.

I was just pointing out how stupid that move was to get rid of a guy who has one of the better relationships with Romo for a guy who can't get anything going.
