Practice no practice, play him!!

He'll be fine without the practice, but the film study could be an issue. Best we could hope for is that he watched the TEN game from last week and made notes.

I think at worst you don't start him, but ease him in as the game goes on

Great news. They really need his experience back there as they looked pretty disorganized against the 49ers. Now if we could just get Durant, Spencer, and Lawrence back we'd be pretty close to full strength on defense minus Sean Lee.

I am, happier that OScan will get a game or two in before New Orleans than I am that he plays this week....he should be much sharper for that passing attack

ESPN is reporting on ticker that NFL didnt agree to the NFLPA proposed change and that they have problems with Welker and Scandrick playing straight away

I'm alright with another week's wait...but an agenda reappears in the running of the Union if what was already agreed upon, isn't effected quickly beyond Monday.

Garrett is being non-committal, saying they'll decide on whatever's in the best interest of the team. Typical coy response from him as usual. Normally, he likes to keep things under wraps until the last minute. It's the Parcells' influence surfacing. I'm guessing Scandrick will play. The alternatives aren't really all that impressive.

Who gets cut and what about Hamilton?

Good question. I don't think Hamilton fits in the criteria of players that wouldn't have passed the test under the new guidelines. It's better if Hamilton remains suspended because it will be difficult to find a spot for him on the roster this week.

In regards to who gets cut for Scandrick, my vote would be the FB that only played 1 offensive snap. The DE Edwards could be in trouble if he can't play due to a knee injury.

They have put themselves in a tight spot by not keeping Spencer on the PUP. It's week 2 and he's still not even practicing.

The article actually states there are still some major hurdles before the players can be reinstated. Nowhere in any of the articles posted in this thread was it specifically stated the players can play this Sunday. I am betting this will drag on until at least another week.
