I like how the whole team--from the coaches to the players--didn't miss a beat, even with Dez going out. There was a time when losing a guy like that would incite a panic. As it is, we're all basically just relieved it's not worse and ready to see what Garrett, Romo, and Linehan do next.

Good, the sooner the better. I woulda had the doctors get their scalpels out and get to town on that bone in the locker room last night if I had my way.

Honestly losing Dez hurts, but I think it's going to going to "equalize" the offense. I think you're going to see several guys share the load at WR and don't think the passing game is going to suffer much.

I actually think this could help the team later in the season.

They are going to really use Beasley and Escobar a lot with Dez out. The two TE packages will only help the run game and they're going to find some things that Escobar can do that will really trip up defenses, IMO. Probably will with Beasley as well.

Dunbar will end up splitting out wide more than he would have and as we saw late in yesterday's game... that can cause problems for defenses.

The team will figure out some things they wouldn't have if Dez wasn't out and that will diversify the attack when Dez gets back.

Would rather have Dez not hurt... but the offense could be really difficult to stop in the last half of the season when Dez is back.

"Don't talk about metatarsals; talk about his damn foot!"

Sorry, inside joke.

It'll be a good thing the way it's a good thing when you don't have the money to go shopping for groceries, so you eat up all the old raisins and cans of mushroom soup and plain pasta you've had in your cupboard for ages. You get by. You get creative, but when pay day comes around and you buy that nice fat NY strip again, you think back on all that nasty food and wonder how you survived.

We'll miss Dez big time, but I hope he comes back more ready to play than he was last night.

Dropped pass in the red zone that killed a drive and getting dehydrated once again like it was Death Valley.

I had this injury and started playing soccer about eight weeks afterwards. I had some soreness, but that was really about it.

I'm hoping the fact that having a professional rehab program like Dez has access to vs. me who had Wikipedia and some doctor notes my daughter colored on will be a huge difference.

Dez out is brutal, but loosing Gregory is also going to hurt. He was really close a couple of times last night to killing Eli.

Remember his broken finger a couple years ago. He'll be back.

Can't rush this back. They inserted a screw and it has to heal.

Rush it back and BAD things can happen. Julio Jones screw for the same injury bent for him 2 years ago and a 4-6 week injury became a season ending injury when they had to go back in and fix it.

Last year WR Marvin Jones broke the 5th metacarpal in his foot and the Bengals said he would be back in 2-4 weeks. It didn't heal right and he missed the entire year.

I could on and on....

Do you really want Dez to rush this back?
