Sorry. I wouldn’t defend Jerry Jones if I knew for a fact he was framed for a felony, but they didn’t exactly have a two time PB DE to send back as part of the package. That’s different than a distant future first round draft pick.

You’re not getting Pickens for Garrett and their first round picks next year are frozen. Can’t trade them.

Tbf, as someone who lives in Cleveland, I think the Browns were going to be bad this season anyway, and this gives Cleveland a good chance at getting a much better QB (again). As a Cowboys fan, we could have done something with Overshown for this, no?

Because you can’t trade picks that are frozen. You can’t say just take whichever pick is lower. You have to wait until the pick is finalized.

how much is verse alone worth? a 1st and 2nd? plus another first they gave. + “and more compensation”
