Very cool, wish the combines used these same drills in pads, seem more in line with the game

I wouldn't mind Vaccaro in a trade-back situation. No way do you spend the 18th overall pick on him.

He won't be available in a trade back.

Getting the #1 safety at #18 overall is pretty solid IMO.

I agree. He is one of the players at 18 I would not mind having. He is not the only one but would not be upset with the pick

I don't see him as more than a pretty decent starter. A ballhawk, in my opinion, is something he will never be. And not BPA unless Warmack, Cooper, Austin, Richardson and J. Jones are all off the board. He IS an RKG though.

Why not? If after all the tape, the combine, the pro days, the visits/interviews, he's the best player on the board, then they should take him. You may not think he's that good, but none of us are in a position to evaluate anyone like the scouts/coaches/GM's are. If they think he is, take him. As bad as the OL situation is, the safety situation is just as bad.

He didn't play much centerfield his senior year at Texas, but he played a ton of single-high for his junior year, and he was very successful at that. Remember, it's all about the player fitting this Tampa 2 scheme.

The safety needs to be smart, versatile, rangy, and physical. Vaccaro fits those traits IMO, and don't get me wrong, if Warmack or Cooper are available along with Vaccaro at #18, I'm taking the guard, but Vaccaro is a nice backup plan, because I do NOT want Fluker.

If he didn't go to Texas half the people wanting him wouldn't say a word. Again, there's nothing physical about him and he didn't make plays in the pass game. Well be the joke of the NFC to draft a safety in the first with as many safeties there are in this draft.

I'm pretty sure the Cowboys feel the same. If those two and maybe even Richardson are gone, I have a feeling Vaccaro might be the pick. Some may not like him, but he's the best safety in the draft and seeing as safety is a major weakness on this team, I don't see a problem with Vaccaro being the pick.

I'm with you. Apparently Warmack showed plenty of physical and athletic traits at his pro day. I honestly think Warmack can play in ANY blocking scheme so I'm not buying the "he's just a mauler" gibberish. He's a special player.

It's Cooper > Warmack for me, but it's also Warmack > Vaccaro

I can't speak for the other half just me. Yes I like the Horns but no I would never take a guy because he went to UT, Vaccaro is viewed by many in the league as a top safety and the best one in the draft. It is not just a few who feel this way and they have no connection to UT.

Only thing that tends to make us the joke of the NFC is our fans.

Sorry, but I want the #1 rated safety over the 3rd rated DL or the 4th rated tackle. Stick to your board!
