Good stuff. Although I really appreciate the official Cowboys site coverage with Broaddus and company, I always wondered why the Dallascowboys.com site films the practices from field level instead of a little higher up to get a better overall view of the action. Especially for fans that are not accustomed to seeing it from an on-the-filed perspective.

The cinematography in the DC.com videos makes me want to cry

A few observations:

1. Beasley and Dunbar returned punts, as well as Dez. I thought the Lucky Whitehead kid was supposed to be the leader in the clubhouse for that.

2. Randy Gregory beat no one. I mean no one. It will be interesting to watch him in the preseason games. Haley said he doesn't listen. Tyron engulfed him, and the backups didn't have any trouble either.

3. Cole Beasley can't be covered. Keep that munchkin healthy.

4. Brandon Weeden holds the ball way too long.

5. That wasn't the audio going out, that was Rod Marinelli dropping f-bombs like rain. ESPN had to bleep him constantly. LOL, man, is he fun to watch, or what? What a great guy to have.

Looks like they will catch a lot of passes.

McFadden needs to get on the field BTW... I kept thinking that while I was watching practice.

Haley said he doesn't listen.

Doesn't listen or doesn't understand? Both are a problem. On the other hand, no one was having much luck against the first team line in pass rush, although G-Cock supposedly had a couple of good plays in rushing attempts. I'm sure that will make a lot of posters here happy :D

He holds the ball too long and his short passes look very soft. Dude needs to just get a WR and CB and practice throwing 7 yard slants and ins and outs. Better yet, stop taking Vaughans valuable reps. I was wondering about the audio, lol.

Rookie passrushers take time to learn, just speed alone doesn't work in the NFL.

Yes but a widely regarded top 5 talent in this past draft should be able to beat 2nd team OTs. We are relying on him for at least the first month of the season while Hardy is suspended.

Early in training camp. Give me a break. That is not concerning especially for a rookie.

Did you not also read where it says he doesnt listen to anyone? This is a top-5 talent in the draft, not some late round draft pick. There were already concerns about his weight and ability to play in a 4-3, so yes it is concerning.

It's odd because I heard Nate say that Gregory did exactly what Haley told him to do on a play and beat Tyron and Haley went crazy.

So who knows.

It's nothing to worry about I know that.

This guy was a bit of a project even without the off the field issues simply because he was so skinny.

Trust, from what I saw last night Ro doesn't have to lose any sleep over Jasper. But I do like the rookie 45.

It's my understanding that Wilson had already switched to #57 and that #45 yesterday was likely one of the new guys signed off the street.
