ESPN: Was Jones' choice on offense wrong, too?

Hmmm...
Games under garrett where we abandon the run.
Games under callahan where we abadon the run.

My contention is it makes no difference if we have him calling players or not cause we have the same results...survey says...

Not sure how so many others miss this reality. This is still Garrett's system. The only thing that has changed is now the fans that want Garrett to stick around have somebody to blame our offensive failures on.

Yea we have become the NFC version of the kc city chiefs offense ..... Without that whole dominant defense thingy/ spotless record deal.

Its funny Garret didn't "ice" Romo with a timeout......... when he saw him moving Dez into the slot on that 44 yd gain..

I understand where you are coming from, however, if you take a step back and really look -- Callahan and Kiffin really hadn't been successful in the recent past.

Last time Callahan was calling plays was at Nebraska. There he ran a once proud team into the ground -- culminating in 76-39 loss to Kansas the year (2007) when they finally canned him. Kiffin was so bad at USC that he was fired by his son. He gave up 730 yards to Oregon last season.

These guys were not ascending coaches -- they were descending coaches. Callahan might have been a good OL coach but nobody but Jerry thought he was HC/OC material.

These were poor choices -- and these choices are playing themselves out on the field.

I think Callahan is overrated as an oline coach as well. Dallas set all time lows for their rushing last year. This was behind Callahan's oline. He didn't develop any linemen and the linemen that he coached seemed to regress from previous seasons. Remember, Bernadeau and Livings had his stamp of approval.

It's the playbook itself that sucks. Vanilla, boring and as other teams have stated - predictable. Contrary to popular belief, JG does not have an innovative football bone in his body. Finally, some Garrett loyalists are seeing that. He's been embarrassingly outcoached numerous times, including last night.

Nice Post. Garrett's finger prints are all over the murder weapon. He is guilty and Callahan was brought in as the accomplice.

The Problem for the Offense stems back under Wade's tenure when Wade wanted to bring in Dan Reeves and Jerry killed it because it would undermine Garrett. Wade recognized that Garrett was in over his head and wanted to give him some "assistance". Jerry would not hear of this because Jerry made Garrett the highest paid assistant coach. I like Jerry but hiring Garrett and standing by him is the biggest mistake of his life. How can Jerry and Stephen put up with a Team being coached by a Moron. If I was Jerry right now, I would get drunk and call a Press Conference in order to Fire Garrett and tell the Team that the "Process is Over" and it is time to play REAL FOOTBALL.

Whenever a team fails in this epic manner like Sunday night, all the decisions will be second guessed.
