ESPN Week # Power Rankings

they were wrong in the beginning why would they have all the answers now. those ranks mean nothing. go back any year and you will see
 
Don't jump on the bandwagon now ESPN, I remember all the mediots having us between 4-6 wins before the season started. I liked it better when they doubted it, and I'm sure the players use that as motivation.

ESPN is not the only one that had 4-6 wins. Hell, even fans on this forum that think they know everything have them at that number or less! lol
 
We need to do the same thing the Skins did to us years ago, who remembers the year they showed up in our house with the Army gear? It had to be what the 80s? (God I liberated too many brain cells.) They set the tone the minute they stepped off the plane. We need to do the same.

I laughed when people had us at 4 or 5 wins. I mean whens the last time the Cowboys have finished with less than 6 wins?! I'll give a hint, it's never happened in the Romo era, we've only been worst than .500 once. I had us at 9-7 entering the season, I figured we'd go 4-2 or 5-1 in the division and 4-6 or 5-5 outside of it. Our team has way too many weapons to be a 4 win team like the Jaguars.


On another note, 3 teams in the NFC EAST are top 13 in the NFL by their rankings. So much for the NFC "LEAST". :laugh:

Including fans that continuously whine about other fans, they can't seem to enjoy their own homerism. At least I'm giving them credit when they do things good, unlike some fans who never admit when the team sucks. Yet we've sucked for 18 years, give or take a couple or 3 years.

I know the thread of predictions. Now there is a lot of swimming backwards trying to get out of that stupid stuff! lol

However, they could still be right....If the Cowboys lose the rest of their games.

Clove, I don't know what your prediction was. If you want to tell us, that's fine also. It does not really matter in the grand scheme of things.

But, what I like about this team is something that I picked up on. A motto of sorts..."don't think about the team in front of you, think about your team"....which is something I think the Cowboys are learning.

IMO, they are not really worried or thinking about the reputation of the next team they play, but to think about their own reputation that they have earned. Seattle is waiting for the Cowboys.
 
Mike and Mike said Dallas deserves to be higher and will when they go to Seattle and win. Funny how they had us ranked 28 3 weeks ago now we beating their number 1 team.

We will be number 1 when we beat Seattle

The Cowboys could be blown out in Seattle. We don't know who will win.

Romo got disrespected because of Seattle, so did Sean Lee. Parcells called it quits after that.

But, that was when, this is now.

The good news is, we don't have the highest penalized OL in NFL history any longer and out LT isn't deaf in his right ear.
 
Booooold Predictions to say we'll beat The Seahawks. Smh. It's doable, but I wouldn't bet monopoly money on it.

You'd expect rankings to be wrong in the beginning moreso than you'd expect them to be now. That's....common sense.

Also this isn't really an indication of best team more than it is an indication of which teams have done the most year to date....with preseason biases thrown in there.

Thats true, but the beauty of it is we get to play and see if we win. Unlike some posters who say is an automatic lost
