IRVING, Texas -- Hamstring injuries could keep Dwayne Harris and Terrance Williams from the field. Neither practiced on Wednesday but Williams is the more likely of the two to play.

"We have [Gavin] Escobar and we have the tight ends that allow us to absorb some of that," coach Jason Garrett said.

"Obviously that puts me in the game plan a little bit more, which is exciting for me," Escobar said. "I'm just ready to jump in there whatever the team asks for."

"Every week I'm just trying to show the coaches I can make plays whether that's the scout team or on offense and I think the past few weeks I've been doing that," Escobar said. "I think their confidence is growing in me, so I'm just trying to translate that to game time."

Woodys Girl. You always find the best stuff. And I thank you for that.

On the topic of Escobar and TE's. Did I hear correctly the other night? The Lions have an undrafted, rookie free agent TE that has 7 TDs this year? If I heard that right, that guy has about as many TDs as Escobar has receptions.

Yea, well they throw him the ball in the red zone. He's not a better player.

might not be better, but he is a lot more productive. And it cant be argued that Detroit is getting a bigger bang for the buck....considering they didnt even need to spend a draft pick on him.

I always wondered why we never split him out wide out alot like he did at San Diego St, especially with the injuries we've had at receiver. He was a matchup nightmare.

Instead we sit him in a 3 point stance and run behind him lol

He's in the slot all the time, and he's been split way out a handful of times in the red zone, which is where he probably should line up. The problem is that Tony sucks at throwing fade routes.

I'm actually a bit excited about this. I still don't like the pick, but that is waning as in the past couple of catches he's shown surprising burst down the field. And he's got to be more effective than Hanna, who is awful.

Yeah I see him in the slot some, I believe that's how he scored against St Louis. I'd like to see him out wide more. If TWill is out, some sets with him out and Miles in the slot or something. He's a big guy for corners to handle although I can't say he's faster than linebackers. Not that I've seen anyway.

The fact that were talking about how to get our 2nd rounder going in Week 16 is a problem.

Doesn't really matter..

He'd probably be 6 on Troy's read, number 5 being the water boy on the sideline, per Garrett's offense.

Yo'd have to swap him from T Williams, who pretty much disappears in the red-zone.

The problem with him out wide is that he isn't fast enough to draw a safety over the top, and even an average corner should be able to run with him. Its much harder to utilize size on the outside.

I was kinda hoping no one would ever remind me of #257 ever again... That guy would be a hawk in our secondary. (tearing up)

exactly, I agree. I would love to see more of him... I guess hes having problems getting it all together but when Ive seen him make plays there is no mistaking him for Witten. He looks explosive (in TE terms) and I cant wait until he becomes a bigger part of this offense.
