He comes off like a carnival barker/traveling salesman type.

"Come one, come all to the most fantastical, awe-inspiring stadium known to man! Walt Disney's got nuthin' on this place! And who knows, a football game might even break out! Step right up!"

We have a QB that Jon Gruden, who's doing our game tonight, was asking about him and saying how good he is.

Say hello to our next coach.

Exactly.

If he was just the president of the team and/or the owner, that makes sense.

But I don't know many other GM's who are out filming television commercials for everything from wings, to pizza to Pepsi, and who have an active, hands-on role in designing a stadium.

The guy is spread too thin .... and I'm not just talking about his face.

We are in complete agreement here.

I'm not bashing Jerry because the guy has plenty of positives and good things he does.

But in trying to be 'everyman' to this franchise, I believe he does it a disservice.

As a carnival barker who is owner of the world's largest circus tent, Jerry certainly would like to add "Chucky" and all his faces to the show.

I don't have a problem with Jerry Jones overall. I think he wants to win more than anything else. You can't say that about all owners. I cannot even tell you who owns the Rams.

As far as the stadium goes, I think everything is alright except for the dancing girls on the pole stages. Who's idea was that. Over-the-top would be an understatement. That really needs to go and is the only thing that really screams "carnival" about the new place.

Wow, that chat session was kinda disturbing.

I have no idea what all the "loving the skunk" talk was all about. Maybe Jerry needs to take a couple of days off or something, that whole chat was just bizzare:confused:

I used to think that.

And then he kept Wade after the meltdown at the end of the season. I couldn't figure out why, until I started reading the speculation that Jerry had money issues and didn't want to pay Wade the last year of his contract if he wasn't here coaching.

I think this year is all about his new stadium. I'm sure he wants to win, but it's no longer the end all for him ... not this year, at least.

OK, that's it. Give up your man card. Don't you know our cheerleaders invented the skimpy little outfits they wear now? Do you want to ban those, too? The humanity of it all.

It's predominently a man's sport. That's why they have the pole dancers, beers, barbaric play on the field and the party pass. Who needs $90 pizzas or $60 six packs. Go to the party section, watch the girls on the poles and the cheerleaders on the screens, throw back a few and have a good time.
