Ten players the Cowboys MUST keep
April, 12, 2010
By Calvin Watkins
The draft is two weeks away, remember it starts on a Thursday night, and all sorts of trade talk is going to pop up between now and then.
We give you 10 players the Cowboys must, MUST keep, no matter what a team offers them come draft day.
1. Tony Romo. He's the franchise.
2. DeMarcus Ware. Best defensive player in the game.
3. Jay Ratliff. Earned first All-Pro spot last year
4. Miles Austin. Cowboys need to see if he can be a Pro Bowler again.
5. Felix Jones. The future starter.
6. Anthony Spencer. Had a breakout 2009 season.
7. Mike Jenkins. Best cornerback on the team is coming off a Pro Bowl year.
8. Leonard Davis. Could play guard or tackle if necessary.
9. Andre Gurode. It's hard to grade linemen, but we know he's good.
10. Stephen Bowen. Might be the starting defensive end in 2010.
