I honestly hope Romo sits at least this week. No reason to risk it. Brad can get the job done against the Rams.

I know every game is important, but I would hold him off until the Giants game atleast.

Still may be a game time decision for Coach Jones.

This statement sums up what is the root problem the Cowboys have had since last season.
I think Wade is nothing but Jerry's puppet:banghead:

Whats going to happen is Brad and Tony are both going to go onto the field for their first possession. Then at the last second, one of them will run off and then we will know who the starter is.

With Roy #11 trade, Pacgone move we are treading back into 1997-2002 waters with JJ.

That said it is Wade's call on who to play.

Well alrighty then. Come on down with those 164TD's, 117 picks, 243 sacks, 63 fumbles(26 lost) in 122 games starting at QB.

And all I hear around where I live is that we will be better off with Johnson he has won a ring, blah, blah, blah. He makes better decisions blah, blah, blah. Well those stats don't make me feel any better with him behind center. But he has a ring so we will be fine.....

Get well Tony we going to need you.

All you hear?? LOL. Some may have said what you suggested as I'm sure there are some here that far off base. The vast, vast majority are afraid Tony may be injured further and possibly being out far longer than 4 weeks. And that Johnson is a capable backup who can keep us in the hunt until Tony returns.

Right now we don't know who will be the starting QB tomorrow.

Well at least us Rams wont have to worry about a Romo fumble for a 30 yard loss turn into a 30 yard gain like last year. That was one of the most bizarre yet amazing plays Ive seen. With that being said Ide rather be playing ur best

I agree if Romo can't go then by all means let him heal and let's take our chances with Johnson.

I meant the haters around my neck of the woods say we will be better off with Johnson because he makes good choices and has a ring to boot. Those stats aren't exactly jaw dropping and suggests the hint that he is prone to turning the ball over.

So I just don't see it myself. If anything I see a mini Bledsoe without the arm. But we should be able to beat the Rams with Johnson and then we can have Romo back for Tampa.

Brad Johnson To Start Sunday
Posted by jellis at 10/18/2008 7:51 PM CDT on truebluefanclub.com

After a week of conflicting reports and uncertainty at the quarterback position, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has cleared the air.

Outside the team hotel Saturday night, Jones told reporters backup quarterback Brad Johnson would start against the Rams Sunday. He even seemed to suggest there had never been any doubt Johnson would be the starter this week.

Romo is expected to dress out and be the primary backup to Johnson.

Johnson took the majority of the reps with the first team offense this week in relief of Tony Romo, who was attempting to play through a fractured pinkie finger on his throwing hand.

Romo was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and did not participate Friday. He was listed as questionable on the final injury report.

For Johnson it will be the first start since Dec. 17, 2006 when he was a member of the Minnesota Vikings.
