I think the people who believe Micah's intentions were to throw MM under the bus (good luck finding a bus with that kind of ground clearance) are the ones who want to be angry about something.
It seems clear to me, and some others, that his words are being twisted, and that he was simply expressing regret for his veteran teammates who will never get a chance to be in a SB.
Baloney, Runny. You're making excuses for them losers.

Here you go. Micah Parsons is a darn loser who doesn't care. He and Diggs are no leaders. You think Bob Lilly, Randy White, Dick Butkus or even Ray Lewis would have put up watching Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs yucking it up on the sidelines while getting their behinds handed to them on the field 34 - 6 to the Eagles?

Hell No!!! Those true football BEASTS would have gone over and start beating up on both Micah and Trevon, plus told them to take off their uniforms, head on to the locker room and demanded Jerry get rid of them after the game!

You know I'm speaking facts.

You know I'm speaking facts.

First: What does their laughing on the sideline have to do with what Micah said?

Second: Do you know what they were laughing about? They might have been laughing about how one of them clowned someone on the other team.

Third: I'm sure they know this season is over too, so why spend every minute of the field mad or pouting?

I do agree that the old school players cared more, but the way the league is set up now gives no reason to be overly proud or loyal to a team. Back then, most guys were teammates for the entirety of their careers, and their teams were part of their identities. Now, it's more about Fantasy Leagues and other stupid crap that ruined the game.

I don't care if these kids wanna have fun on the sidelines, as long as they give a lot of effort on the field.

MP said nothing wrong, it’s classic taken out of context and total ESPN clickbait and fake indignation. MP actually said MM and coaches get to go somewhere else because of the longevity but he feels bad for Cowboys players who won’t get a ring because the clock is running out on their careers. He’s right and this is just made upESPN bs.
Agreed. Someone really had to be digging for an offense in here. PS everybody and their brothers knows McCarthy is gone, but we're not supposed to talk about it?

When the Cowboys biggest cheerleader (Michael Irvin) struggles badly to excuse or deflect blame on Micah Parsons, you know then that Micah Parsons directly attacked his head coach, Mike McCarthy.

Sounds like Mike is dead on, except that he didn't mention the fact that when Micah said they "put in more work than McCarthy ever did", he probably meant that they've been with the team a lot longer.

While that's true, it doesn't mean McCarthy doesn't deserve all the crap he's getting for the job this year.

Rex Ryan, Dan Orlovsky, Damien Woody and Mike Greenberg all condemned and berated Micah Parsons' attack against Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy.

Micah Parsons (and his mouth) has become a cancer. He crossed the line to the point of no return by bashing head coach Mike McCarthy in the back to the media after the Cowboys loss to the Eagles. It doesn't matter how talented Micah is. You simply can not win with super disrespectful and "all about me" cancerous players like that.

Should Jerry Jones get rid of this cancer and trade away Micah Parsons (regardless if Mike McCarthy is fired at the end of this season)? Or should Jerry keep Micah and allow him to further divide and psychologically destroy this Cowboys locker room?

What say you?

Let me first say that I truly believe that Micah needs to step away from his blog and just get to work on his craft. With that being said, those idiots completely took Micah's comments way off base. Rex specifically took this way out there. Seriously, Rex, Orlovsky and Greenberg are the last people I'd consider listening to for anything football related. This is nothing but an attempt to generate ratings. It's the typical throwing poooooo on the wall and watching Cowboys fans come running to agree/disagree. AC, you need to step away from this sort of media poooooo. It's part of the decline of real journalism.

This is why I continue to hang out here. While I disagree with a number of people here, this is by far the best place to get accurate information that's timely.

Micah is one of those people that lack the eloquence needed to make comments like he did. I think I understand what he was trying to say and I can't disagree with him. However, a more filtered version of the same ideas would not have generated the uproars Micah's comments did.

Let's be honest, many of us have said the same thing about wasting Witten's career, Tyron Smith, and other Cowboys players. Micah did not have to talk about McCarthy in that context although I understand what he was saying.

And let's be honest, we all see how MM has been set up by Jerry, and we all assume this is MM's last year with Dallas. We also saw Jerry do nothing in the off-season after saying he was "all in". I think the players see it as well and it has to be frustrating for them too.

Micah needs to learn how to speak to the media, or he needs to be quiet. He won't but we will see this happen again and again during his career. At some point the Cowboys may get tired of it and trade him, but these comments hurt his trade value as well.

The stakes are high. He's just not understanding. It's funny to him. Careers are at stake and he doesn't care. I have a problem with that and I could care less about his age. He needs an intervention.
He literally said Martins career is basically over and he feels bad for him. You heard what he said? Talk to Jerry about the high stakes and understanding something

I was laughing throughout the game, as I'm sure many of us were.

Would I prefer he tried to motivate his team instead? Sure, but if he looked angry, people would just say he was immature.
Big difference between fans laughing during an embarrassment but it’s another when a player is caught laughing, especially a star player. It was a bad look. He never looks like he’s trying to motivate anyone. All he does is make comments to piss everyone off.

Jerry started throwing McCarthy under the bus and it made it OK for players to do the same. This is the problem in Dallas. Jerry undermines the coach who loses control of the team as a result.
