I'm on Micah's side! Someone needs to break away from the yes sir hold that Jerry has on these players and coaches. The organization is a dumpster fire. It could also be Micah wants out and he is lashing out to make it happen. To be honest he deserves better than the trash team he is trying to carry all by himself.

Parsons is kinda weird. This was known before he was even drafted. He has absolutely no filter and can't read a room to save his life.
This is true but he's not stupid.......Getting his BS degree in 3 years with a GPA over 3.0 AND playing football requires a lot of discipline and hard work. McCarthy has already said he was misunderstood. Rex just running his mouth but I will say Parsons needs to understand silence can be your best friend sometimes. If Jerry is signing him to one of the largest contracts in the league, he may wanna take a PR course. Right now his communication skills are average to reckless.

Micah Parsons, a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, graduated from Penn State University in 2021 with a degree in criminology:

  • Degree: Parsons graduated with a degree in criminology.

  • GPA: Parsons graduated with a cumulative GPA of over 3.00.

  • Time to graduate: Parsons graduated in three years.

  • Honors: Parsons was named All-Big Ten, All-American, Conference Linebacker of the Year, and Cotton Bowl MVP.

Parsons left Penn State early to enter the NFL in 2021 after opting out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns. He was drafted by the Cowboys in the first round of the NFL draft.

Parsons was a dual admissions student at Harrisburg University (HU) while attending Sci-Tech High School in the Harrisburg School District. He was a decorated youth wrestler growing up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, but didn't wrestle in high school

I think Micah is just immature. It was pretty obvious what he meant to say, he just sucks at saying what he wants to say.

The media probably buried him more than they should have for this one… But he’s just an easy target at this point.

Exactly. He does it to himself. If I was his Dad, I'd advise him to back off from the limelight a bit. Also, focus on work, not his side gig as much.

Sometimes Micah,it's not important to be right, as much as it is being humble, silent. They say silence is golden. This is a case where he should have stayed in his lane, and stayed quiet. The media took his words to an extreme level. It's a life lesson for him. Of his own making.

This ...... the criticism of Micah is insane.

And if anyone else started this thread the OP would be calling them bad fans and telling them to find another team.

Hypocrite.
Hypocrite your face, hater.

Some of us support this team through good and bad. Not you.

“Attack”?? What are we doing here…the quote wasn’t even 1/2 as bad as people are trying to make it out. Wasn’t the best choice of words, but you have to be intentionally twisting his words (to fit an agenda) to take that as an insult towards McCarthy.
You just don't say anything about your head coach during the season. It's called "respect", something some of you clearly don't have.

You don’t see it as an attack? You don’t say that a player puts in more time and effort than a coach. This is just not true you just flat out don’t say stupid crap like that.
Exactly.

They know this, but they hate McCarthy and obviously have no respect themselves. For any player to say this about their head coach shows the rest of the team the lack of respect for their own. If a player can do this about his head coach, everyone knows this player talks smack about anyone on this team.

Wish there was a video of Parsons laughing on the sidelines while the team was getting their butts handed to them on Sunday. He was caught laughing on the sidelines with at least one of his teammates during the Detroit debacle. He doesn’t seem to care what’s going on during games. No leadership what so ever.

I think the people who believe Micah's intentions were to throw MM under the bus (good luck finding a bus with that kind of ground clearance) are the ones who want to be angry about something.
It seems clear to me, and some others, that his words are being twisted, and that he was simply expressing regret for his veteran teammates who will never get a chance to be in a SB.

I was laughing throughout the game, as I'm sure many of us were.

Would I prefer he tried to motivate his team instead? Sure, but if he looked angry, people would just say he was immature.

When the Cowboys biggest cheerleader (Michael Irvin) struggles badly to excuse or deflect blame on Micah Parsons, you know then that Micah Parsons directly attacked his head coach, Mike McCarthy.
