lol, when JJ or SJ get involved in the conversation I'll listen. If we are to believe all of this blather then we should believe ET and Carroll when they both said the visit to the Cowboy locker room last year was really more in fun and a joke than anything else. Whether anything happens on the ET front with us is a complete unknown. It should be obvious after 3 games that we aren't an ET away from contending. If I'm management, which I'm not, I'm asking some tough questions this morning. One of them could be, are we going to give up a minimum of a second round draft pick for a player who may impact a game or two but will probably not change the outcome of the season. The offense so far is not good.
The question was posed on here yesterday, would you rather be 2-1 and no ET or 1-2 with an ET? Does anyone honestly believe that if ET had been playing for us last night that we would have won that game, other than the fact that he wouldn't have been playing for Seattle. My answer is 3 turnovers on offense and 5 QB sacks with a ton of pressure and unless ET puts on some weight and plays LG or C or even QB, the answer to that question is no. And for the record I would rather be 2-1 with the offense clicking. I think Seattle showed the league how to beat our defense too. Hurry up offense to prevent the substitutions on defense. I was wondering how long that would take.
If the trade happens, fine. Do I see it impacting the overall record if the offense continues to struggle, no.
