Rebuild what? Those draft picks will be used to draft the most mentally unstable or the most injured person in the draft. Because for whatever reason Jerry thinks picking those guys is "drafting value"
yeah had changed that, but not fast enough, but what I mean is, I think we need those draft picks, since we need to get younger still. ET is too old, and we are not in a win now phase. So I'm not for rebuilding the whole team. But I got a feeling that we will need that second round pick. We're not going to the playoffs this year most likely.

This just sounds like more chatter from Earl Thomas.

Not like drafting players is helping this team. We find the most broken down players in the draft or guys who have severe mental issues to do projects with. I'd say use the picks and get Earl Thomas, be nice to have a safety in Dallas again, haven't had one of those since Darren Woodson retired.
Agreed. I am still on board at the right price. I would love to see some actual safety place in Dallas. It's been so long.

Lol, you aren't drafting an Earl Thomas with the 2nd round pick next year.

We’d have Earl at the top of his game for MAYBE 2-3 years. The new QB will take at least that long to develop. It’s a waste of assets to me. I’d rather go full Rangers/Mavs and tear this thing down and rebuild even more.

Now I’d be willing to have him as an FA or 5th rder. But definitely don’t want to give top 3 round pick and I’m 60-40 on saving a 4th rounder.

The only position I wouldn’t draft high would be CB.

As if that's the equation, 3 games into a season with no offense and a guy who is heading for free agency next year. :muttley:

If we want him, sign him then. Meanwhile, that 2nd round pick may be needed to trade up and address a bigger problem.

If they really said that to ET, it’s a minimum $100,000 fine for tampering.

I’m calling bullshingles on this Tweet.
It wouldn’t be tampering if the trade is already in the works. Maybe this game is what Seattle was waiting for. It could’ve been tougher on them with us having their ex defensive coach and their top defensive back. Now that we’ve played he might be on his way to the Cowboys. Who knows?

We have to raise another quarterback. That will take years.

What we spend now is irrelevant in the meantime.

It's going to be a LONG time before this team contends either way. Might as well play some defense.

We need our picks.

This team is going nowhere with Linehan and Dak combo this year.

Don’t overrate draft picks. It’s obvious we won’t be paying a big $$ QB contract now for years to come so why not keep loading up on talent? Earl will give you another 4-5 years of high level play and just about outs a ribbon on the defense while we start repairing the offense.

I really hope this isnt true. Unless the plan is to win a bunch of 6 to 3 games. This team needs to be acquiring picks.

Only a Cowboys fan would even listen to such dribble...over, and over, and over...
