Forget this clown. Substantial compensation plus a big contract? He's a 'me' guy. Defense is not so much the problem. Something needs to be done with the offense.

I don't blame a player for being "me" when he wants to get paid. NFL doesn't look out for them so they have to look out for themselves. He's a great player. It just that Dallas has a bigger problem right now at QB that a FS isn't going to help the franchise.

Just tank for high picks now and sign Thomas during offseason.

I think we should keep our 1st rounder but I can tell you this much. That blown coverage by Kavon Frazier would not have happened if we had ET. Xavier Woods I didn't even see out there. That's usually a good sign.

He has better hands than any of our WR/TE. Maybe he's willing to be a two way player.

Earl Thomas just trying to get paid.. he doesn’t care about anybody but himself. He showed up today because he didn’t want to get fined by the Seahawks and lose game day paychecks. He’s been talking smack, but performing on the field.

Seattle holds all the cards.

True, owners are largely out for themselves...though there's been some crazy guaranteed money thrown around this past offseason. Personally, I wasn't crazy about what he did last season w/ Garrett...and also didn't care for what he did tonight. Essentially, he's disrespected both sides. But folks certainly see things differently. Overall, the Boys D hasn't been the problem...but a completely inept offense has been.

He's certainly a great player...but the compensation & long-term financial commitment certainly may prove not worth it. He doesn't fix the multitude of more important issues affecting the team.

Seattle is not holding all the cards. In fact, they are trying to get other teams to bite and get more than a 3rd rounder comp pick which is at end of the 3rd round. JJ better understand that our current team is not a FS away from playoffs or SB. We are a franchise QB away! So save your ammo for a chance at a QB.

I have no problem with a player who is performing and wanting to get paid. He is just watching out for himself since neither NFL nor any team is really watching out for him.

He’s a FA next year. He’s signing whoever pays him the biggest money. Seattle doesn’t have to do anything and they get Earl Thomas to perform this year, because he has to showcase his skills.

Just like today, ET didn’t show up in practice, but he was all over the field today.

We need a healthy center, 77 returning to a dominant player and ET

Who exactly is he supposed to care about? He plays a game where his deal can be terminated at any time.

He's wants to earn as much as he can because once he's done with football, he's likely not seeing giant salaries in his future. Wants to provide for his family after he retires. That's not selfish.

You just talked about how bad most of the Oline is. Then you cut up Dak. LOL

If you think some young QB is going to come in here and light it up behind this line you are fooling yourself. And I think its pretty obvious that you need good Oline play or it really doesn't matter who your QB is. Dak, Rookie, Brady, doesn't matter.
Oline play is not nearly as bad as QB play right now. Not sure many would disagree with that.

I would go to KC and get some short fields for Mahomes if it was me.

JJ will probably be dumb enough to give up a 1st round pick now.

As well he should!!! Did you see how bad our safeties were today? How about our last two number one picks. Earl will be better than both those guys combined for the next 6 years ...

I wouldn’t trade our 1st. It’s going to be top 10 next season! Like I wanted ET but it’s done. Let’s move on. We need help on offense not defense.

I agree, but pretending like he cares about Dallas and wants to play there because he grew up a fan is absurd.

He’s demanding a new contract, because he saw how much Eric Barry got after he signed his.

In this case, he’s reneging on a contract he made basically, which was a top of the dollar contract when he signed it.

Well, I would wait on ET and give up nothing but he definitely will help this defense.

However, maybe we need to trade for any offensive playmaker, I know that I am just dreaming!
Fitz magic and we reach the championship game no doubt
