You forgot about a 1 and 2 record vs. Bledsoe's 3 and 2 record. It's about the W's, indivuduals stats are for losers. Ask Dan Marino :D

Sorry boss...

But technically Bledsoe was 3-3 and Romo is 1-1.

The QB that starts the game is credited with the "win or loss".

I'm sure your posts from now on will address that mistake on your part.

Have you been sleeping the past 3 years Romo has been in the league?

Romo so far has completed 11% more of his passes than Deadslow and his QB rating is 24 points higher, not to mention A POSTIVE TD/INT RATIO.

What veteran savvy did Bledsoe posses besides being the other teams best player?

Romo has played 3 games....let's not get carried away here.

Call me old school, but I prefer sticking with the veteran.

Did Gibbs give up on Brunell even though the team was 2-5? I think not.....

We were down 5 points AT HOME when Bledsoe was pulled, Romo turned a manageable deficit into a 3 score one.

Just the facts here....

Brunell is older and not nearly as good as Bledsoe but Joe Gibbs stuck with him instead of starting Cambell (who is a 1st round pick and better QB than Romo) despite a 2-5 record.

I wish that Gibbs was our coach and we wouldn't be in this predicament.

You are a sad person. How in the hell do you know he is a better QB than Cambell? because he is a 1st round pick?

that's sad my friend.

Actually I take that back....I don't want Gibbs coaching this team, but I give the guy credit....if the Skins get on a roll and make the playoffs it will be because he stayed with Brunell.

We should have stayed with our veteran as well.

The move to Romo gave us the only hope we have for this season.

I was not originally a Romo promoter, as some could attest to on this board, but I'm a Cowboys fan. And despite the fact that I HATE that he reminds me of Favre (not the same abilities, just the same body language), I have to say that he has done nothing but impress me in his two starts. I never thought that I would say this, but I actually am beginning to believe that he COULD, not WILL, but COULD be the long term answer for us at the position. Those 3rd and long conversions are way above average.

Bledsoe was good in his time but his time has past. Romo has done nothing but impress. He has thrown every possible pass that needed to be made and
has given the Cowboys the best opportunity to win game. Players around him need to make plays its just that simple. I am very excited about his play
and look forward to watching him progress in the near future. Yes 2 games
doesn't make a season or a career but I like the way he plays the game.

Those who want Bledsoe I understand that you may want the Veteran at QB and Bledsoe has had a stellar career, but in todays NFL if you can not avoid the rush you are a sitting duck waiting to be hit. Sorry but Bledsoe is not the best option for the Cowboys.

Romo will be our next great QB at Dallas, he has all the tools.

Glad to see ya coming around...the kid really has show something...I am most impressed that no matter 3rd and long or 3rd and short he seems to make the right decisions...

a most excellent game at a hostile venue... Bravo Tony

the score was 36-22, so how did Romo turn it into a 3 score deficit?

The way I see it. If Romo wasn't good enough to overcome the failures of the team then that makes him a...

Better than anyone could have hoped, even though Palmer did tell Jerry after the Giants game that Romo's performance against Seattle in the pre-season was more like what he could expect out of Romo. That was an eye-opening comment, imo, for the QB coach to make.

The kid has an unbelievably fast release, (I'll dare to compare it to Marino) and he has the coolness and pocket presence of Montana and Staubach.

He's played phenomenly well, imo.

Captain America, comparing a UDFA back-up to an all time great like Staubach!! tch, tch. :D:eek::

Well Romo is not playing like an UDFA, David Carr is, Culpepper is as well as others who come into the NFL with the status of #1 draft pick. I hate to compare any QB to one of the all time greats but for a guy who has only started 2 games Romo looks very sharp and is showing more than I expected.

The Giants blew the game open and capitalized on Romo's turnovers in the 2nd half.
