Even without the Dez play we could/should have been up 38-7

We'll agree to disagree then.

An above average pass rush would've sacked Rodgers about five times yesterday and gave him more trouble than ours did.

And I do believe he (Rodgers) is injured. If he was able to scramble at all, I doubt, with the way things went, the Cowboys would've been competitive.

The defense played as well as it could all season, so hats off to them.

If Dallas had even a average to good set of interior pass rushing DTs, the Cowboys win this game.

In particular, I am hugely disappointed in Crawford's 0 sack, 0 solo tackle, 0 assist disappearing act.

I understand the Packers have a really good interior OL with Lang, Sitton, etc, but they absolutely needed more pressure up the middle.

Frankly, I think they missed Melton a lot.

Crawford himself admitted he stunk. We always want to blame the marquee guys but if he makes one splash play we may be headed to Seattle

Good points, but i dont think murray scores on the fumble. He woulda broke into the open im sure, but i bet someone would have caught him. Randle would have been gone.

Not getting that fumbled kickoff haunts me. I jumped off the couch higher than dezs catch, just knew we had it

Funny Dez Said the same thing after the game, I totally agree, we were the best team, and still are!

And now the entire NFL fanbase gets to see the inferior team make a pointless trip to Seattle to go through the motions, in a game they have no chance of winning, wasting everyone's time before the outcome everyone knows is coming.

And next week we'll get the nonsense about "maybe if Rodgers was healthy they might have had a chance"....

I can skip next week and just watch the Seahawks and Patriots play on February 1st. Everything else is a waste of time.

We had our opportunities and that much is certain. I feel like Dez does, the better team lost. It is what it is though, a tough pill to swallow.

You think NE will necessarily beat Indy? I don't.

Yeah. After that game against Baltimore the other night? Definitely.

Baltimore did everything right and it still wasn't enough to beat them.

I don't see a team capable of getting trounced 42-7 beating Brady and Belichick.

All 4 conference championship teams had a close game in the 4th quarter.

To expect us to be up 31 points at Lambeu is silly. You can't assume we make every single play correctly and the other team doesn't make plays.

We battled, played mostly well and had a chance late. We were underdogs for a reason.

I'm just saying if we just make the plays that are there to be easily made, even if we give up a TD to GB we had the very likely potential to have 38 points before the Dez play ever happens. I'm not saying that this would have been the final score but we should have had a 3 score lead into the 4th quarter and Micheal Irvin agrees with me on this. He said they will think about giving this game away all their lives.

Honestly, had the Dez catch been ruled properly, we still very probably lose this game. Only we'd be furious with the defense and the defensive coaches and, probably, Jason Garrett instead of the officials.

Maybe what happened was a blessing in disguise because it will let us target our offseason angst more productively.

It's really not that hard to get to 38 points if we don't miss the kick, Murray doesn't fumble and we recover their fumble deep in our territory. Also we were really starting to pound them in the running game. This should have been a blow out and I have no doubt that we were the better team on the field much like Cowboys vs 49ers in the 1994 NFC Championship game.

You realize that every single play after you change one would be different right? For all you know, (though unlikely), if the kick is made, GB returns the kickoff for a TD, we fumble the ensuing kickoff, and GB scores again, and we go in at half down 21-10.

Completely agree. GB had 4+ minutes and very likely scores a TD. Our only hope would've been to get the ball back in time to mount a winning TD drive.

To me we left 13 points off the board

6 with Bailey FG misses, and a potential 7 with Murray turnover ( really a great strip by Peppers) or Dez Non Catch ruling - high probability we score there.

End result we , if D holds, win the game by 8 or minimal 5 giving them another FG....

Problem is, the Murray fumble was a very good play on Peppers' part. They earned that one.

I think we just got beat by a similarly-talented team that happened to get a little home-cooking. Then again, they earned the right to get the home cooking during the regular season.
