My nominees to be let go:
Bruce Read
Stewart
Hamlin, if possible - cap my not allow it
Every backup developmental OL - Proctor, Berger, Free, McQ - just wipe the slate clean and begin from scratch with this draft
Carpenter
RW11 - I know he just came here and we gave him a big deal but if there is some way to trade him for a 2nd rounder, I would be game. I just don't see the skills that have all of you foaming at the mouth. Maybe it is injuries but I am so unimpressed.
Henry - he is just useless as a CB and not a good enough tackler to play safety - he is just a huge liability anytime he is out there
Watkins - he is just too brittle to play safety - we may as well part ways here
C Brown - he is as useless a football player as I have ever seen
People who deserve another chance despite a bad/inconsistent year:
Wade Phillips - has got the D playing well outside of Hamlin. Hopefully he has learned the importance of discipline this year.
Jason Garrett - I think he will come back better next year - he is showing signs of making adjustments to the offense and I think a more consistent Romo hitting those wide open plays in the 1st half make this a very different game.
TO: RW11 cannot take over for him so we still need him despite all the shennanigans
The core of the team that we keep together moving forward:
Romo
Ware
Witten/Bennett
Choice/Felix (that's right - no Barber - we can win without him if the right trade offer comes along)
Ratliff
TNew
Scandrick
