Well saidFor me, Tolbert is a year behind where I wanted him to be. He did in his second year what I wanted in his rookie year and did in his third what I wanted in his second
That said, Tolbert should be making plays and scoring TDs because now he's covered by their 3rd best CB instead of 2nd.
Plus. I expect others to get their touches too.
He just has to be good. Not a number one. It's not like he's terrible. The guy is shredded. Good athlete.
Playing at a smaller school likely meant a good size learning curve.
I did not expect anything great from his rookie year. He did come from a small school program as you posted. More time and adjustments were needed. But I do understand what you are saying.
