Every reception by Tolbert for the 2024 season

He just is not moving the needle enough............

For me, Tolbert is a year behind where I wanted him to be. He did in his second year what I wanted in his rookie year and did in his third what I wanted in his second

That said, Tolbert should be making plays and scoring TDs because now he's covered by their 3rd best CB instead of 2nd.

Plus. I expect others to get their touches too.

He just has to be good. Not a number one. It's not like he's terrible. The guy is shredded. Good athlete.

Playing at a smaller school likely meant a good size learning curve.

Well said

What I noticed, was between Dak, Cooper, and even Trey. The passing accuracy was not much difference.
All 3 hit Tolbert in stride, or within a decent catch radius.

Also all 3 threw where it was a little behind him, he made an adjustment to catch it. I know they can't hit a receiver in stride all the time. As there are other factors involved. But overall the passes were within reason.

Now that is for the completions. We need to see all the targets where he did not catch it. How many did he drop, how many because of great coverage. I think overall he looked decent, but can Mingo compete to move ahead of him.

I did not expect anything great from his rookie year. He did come from a small school program as you posted. More time and adjustments were needed. But I do understand what you are saying. Yes, he could have been better his 1st year regardless.
