Falcons will crush Rodgers.

Yep. They have all the energy, mojo and players to do it. Any of your bet with those offshore places? I'd love to put about 5k on ATL. Adams went out hurt tonight as did another DB and didn't return. They are toast next week. Emptied the tank physically and mentally against us.

I know you don't want to hear it right now, but as a football coach for the last 30 years, I can assure you the Cowboys staff is already looking at the future. I'm excited about it. So glad that the offense played well and we don't have to argue about Dak vs Romo or whether we should trade Dez. We all know that we need an upgrade on defense, hopefully Jaylon Smith will regain to full strength. Anyway, glass half full. Go Cowboys! I know it's toughs but it's better than being a Browns fan.

The future is no more brighter than most other teams. Seasons often don't go the way you might predict and there's no better example than this team. The coaches for this team while they had a great regular season can't be trusted as others have already stated.
I disagree
When you find a qb then your future is brighter
The key to this game is a qb and I think we've found a qb
Does that mean we have a great season next year? No, lots of things can happen but when you have a qb you have a chance

I have to be this petty fan right now. Lol

The Packers and Rodgers have beat us twice BUT DID NOT go on to win super bowl. Like we did when we beat them.

Ha!

Whatever.. Their defense is terrible and it's been terrible all year.

It's terrible, but they have a fighting chance because they have a few ideas rushers. Would you have liked Freeney on that last drive? 1M salary.

We were trying to contain Rodgers in the pocket.

Looked great yesterday vs. the Seahawks too. ATL's front 7 is much more active and physical than ours. Not even close. Falcons are going to hammer the Pack.

We were trying to contain Rodgers in the pocket.

Our DL was trying all season. Mostly just trying though. Heath and Scandrick were our best pass rushers today.
And Rodgers had plenty of rollouts for big gains today, so they could even contain him. It's just a crap DL, no sugar coating it.

I agree with those that said it is a year to year thing. How many times do you have best record, a relatively healthy team, and home field? Huge wasted opportunity. Injuries, coaching changes and free agency always factors.

You never know in the NFL. How long has it been since Dallas had back to back playoff appearances? How low did the future look last offseason? It does look positive right now but in the NFL things change quickly and an injury or two and/or a bad break can really impact a season where most teams are pretty close to each other in talent.

Don't care about future with opportunity at hand. Hopefully Jerry and McClay have learned their lesson of drafting "projects" and hoping they can be stars on defense.

This team can be built to jave success for a long time.
I am giving myself a day or 2 to calm down after this loss. A great comeback but fell short.
My only negative I am going to say, and have said, was the use or non use of that final timeout on the last drive.

Not going to be doom and gloom about this. But will be constructive criticism eventually.
A lot of things happened today as not to blame anyone person or thing.

Well said Jazz.

I agree about taking a break. Barring some disastrous injuries we should be right back next season and excited about the future. It will be a fun ride but hard to think about it tonight.

Now I'm hoping for a Kansas City/Atlanta Superbowl.

Garrett worries me in big games. Great regular season coach, starting to look like a choker in the playoffs.

Yep. Proof is in the proverbial pudding. WE had it all going our way and came out THAT flat? Lienehan didn't help either. Some people are pissed at Rod but not me. He simply doesn't have the Dlinemen guys. He hasn't for years. The stubbornness and ***clownery with the Dline has to stop this offseason. Worst Dline in our division along with Washington.
