We had an excellent winning streak, mostly at home, topped off but a dominating win vs the hated Ugles. Then we traveled to Buffalo and looked PATHETIC in EVERY WAY, except our MVP kicker.

Don’t listen to the excuse makers. The game vs the Fins is important! IF WE WANT TO DO ANYTHING in the playoffs we need a win vs the Fins. It doesn’t need to be a dominating win, though that would give me way more confidence going forward, but it does need to be a WIN!!!!!

The players must prove to themselves they can beat a good team on the road!!

All that being said, being a long time realistic fan, and from what I have seen this year, I am not confident we will win.
This team is starting to look like the same team as the last few years. Good enough to make the playoffs, but not good enough to beat a good team on the road in the playoffs. I hope I am wrong AND we go on to kick the crap out of the Fins, get the 2nd seed, and BEAT the hated Whiners in the NFC Championship!!!!!! Then kick butt in the Superbowl!!!!!
The refs hate us and the fans were too loud.

"Almost 31 years"

Nice math. You're clearly a very intelligent person who should be taken seriously!
I was off by a few years. Most people get the point. There are 32 teams. On average from 1996 to 2028 we should win 1 Super Bowl. We have not even made an NFC Championship game in 28 years!
Losing in a Divisional game last year, after years of mediocrity, does not cut it for most fans.

It doesn't matter if we win this game or not, as we don't control our own destiny. We need to go 2-1 over the last 3 games with that one loss coming against any team other than Washington. If that happens and Philly loses one of their last 3 against any team, we win the division, which I think is exactly what will happen.

I'm tired of reading about so-called fans dogging the Cowboys about anything. We were the 2nd team in the NFL to clinch a playoff spot this year. That was goal #1. Goal #2 is to try and win the division. We probably won't get the #1 seed, so the next goal is to win our first playoff game.

For the record, I think the Cowboys will roll to victory tomorrow.

Not sure "excuses" are necessary. Miami is extremely talented. Go down the list and it's hard to find where we're more talented than they are. They might simply be the better team.

Dak Prescott will light up the Dolphins’ defense for over 300 yards passing and four touchdowns to lead the Cowboys to victory.

I don't see Dak Prescott losing to Tua Tagovailoa.

I think if we lose to the Dolphins, and the Eagles lose to the Cardinals, they'll still win the division. We would need them to lose to the Giants.

Then Cowboys fans expectations are unrealistic. It doesn't matter if it's a 100 years, go look at the success rate of a 5th seed. It's one thing to be hopeful of a snowball's chance in hell, but to expect it to succeed is unrealistic.

Certainly Pollard about as well as he could and with some passion.

I don’t think you understand what I am saying. My expectations are not to high at all. There are 32 teams in the NFL, so the AVERAGE NFL team should be able win a Super Bowl once every 32 years. We have not even won an NFC Championship in 28 years!!!!!!! We have not sniffed a Superbowl victory in 28 years!!!!

If we are tied with Philly, we need them to lose to the Giants, and we need to beat Washington. We win best record in division tie breaker.

Not confident in your prediction, but hope it happens. Dak plays Miami’s D which is pretty good. He has struggled against Fangio’s style of D too.

Would be nice to have at least one home playoff game.

Going to Tampa and beating a so-so team Tampa team (they might actually be a little better than last year), then getting beat by San Fran again would probably bruise my soul for a couple weeks. :)

Dak doesn't play Tua.

The defense will lose to Tua, maybe with SOME help from Dak if he can't sustain drives.

I'm not saying this is what WILL happen. It is the blueprint for beating us.

Truthfully, couldn't you enjoy a Cowboys win today? I like the odds of them winning today...I'll carry the faith for both of us.
Why wouldn't he enjoy it?

Because of you trying to desperately to make him a hater? He isn't. Very VERY few here are, but some people just can't help themselves. Compelled to virtue signal their superior fandom.
