I think the play-calling was better in this game (minus the pass attempt to Rico).
So tired of hearing people complain about playcalling. Fans just need to know one thing. If it works, it was a great call. If it didn’t, then it was terrible.
I don't disagree, and I am sure the coaches are putting in the work. But my basic premise is that great execution is much much more important. And execution is highly related to overall talent, and the QB's ability to make the best play consistently. To some degree yes, but this is very much a circular argument. Sometimes a good play call doesnt works, Sometimes an ill advised pass is completed, but there is something to be said about a game plan. When we had the best line in football a few years back, you have some room for error, but once youve taken a step back, and the league has caught up to what you are doing....mixing it up is essential. What was a good play call 2 years ago, may not be a good play call today.

Finally, the large majority of fans complain about play calling when they don't really have any real what is happening out there. It's 99% hindsight and ignorance when fans complain about play calling.
If only Austin caught that early pass in the endzone.

We could have had 14 more points but for non end zone grabs. Funny how other teams seem to come up with those tougher ones
