There's alot of high expectations from fans this year. A little too high if you ask me. We could be better but have a worse record than last year. There will be a melt down if we lose 3 games early which is entirely possible looking at the schedule. The Rats will be jumping ship and this place will be miserable to visit. So just tamper all the high expectations and hang in even if we're not too successfully early on. And as Popovich / Garrett always preach take one game at a time. Pound the Rock.

I expect a slow start and lots of weeping and gnashing of teeth but they are poised to finish strong if they stay healthy

If we started 1-3 then yes, I would be upset. Steaming mad even. Meltdown? Not so much.

I expect 4-0 is very likely. I expect Dallas to come out strong. We will be favored at home against the Pats, because we should win it. The Eagles will be favored at home against us, but we can win that.

4-0 is at least 50% imo.

The front 8 are the hard ones. If we hit the half way point at 5-3 or better we are in really good shape. Even 4-4 would not be horrible. I expect us to be 11-5 at the end of the season and roll to SB 50.

The team does not seem over confident which is what matters. It's OK for fans to be over confident.

I'm still on record saying that I fully expect us finishing 10-6. We'll be a better team overall but end up with a worse record.

Actually, 4-4 would be horrible in other than a dream scenario post wise.

Well, for starters, were the only team I our division that plays either Seattle or Green Bay...and we play both.

I do think well be better, but I also feel well lose 1-2 more games.
As long as we get in and tear it up come playoff time, I'm ok.

Let's not focus too much on the possibility of a public letdown as much as being hopeful of additional public support for a team that has seen far too many years of mediocrity. It's well past time for this team to revisit its winning tradition. High expectations exist simply because the talent level of this team is highly promising. Let's be thankful that this is the case, rather than dreading the repercussions of failure. That sort of thing is for losers.

I always temper my expectations a little just because the team has been bad to mediocre for so long. But saying that I expect a good year.
