Extend Gregory and Schultz

Schultz with the juke, that was sweet. He has been key this year but still he was looking like late career Whitten a bit with the catch-n-fall plays i.e.no yac. But today he looked like Lamar :)

Basically it's worth a try. I'd begin to negotiate and test the water. If we can't come to terms then he is forced to prove it through out the season. The security should merit some type of discount, although to what extent is beyond me. I'd love to believe he would be more willing to take a discount based on loyalty, but his agent won't buy into that.
Gregory had an interview, I believe it was this week and I cant even remember the question, but he responded with talking about playing well, knowing he is trying to get paid and he even mentioned something like, whether it is in Dallas or not. Now, if you listen to him speak, he is very smart, so maybe he is just letting the Cowboys to not come and try and low ball him, but he must want to stay here. This team is just taking off.... but , he definitely is looking to get paid.

I said last year we should go ahead lock them up long term

What’s the $ owed to Jarwin? Not bank breaking probably but it is significant I believe.

You guys say this every week....and I'll say it again....what incentive does Gregory and Schultz have in signing a deal right now? You'd think after the Jaylon debacle fans wouldn't even want to re-sign guys early lol.
Injury incentive-that’s about it

True but if anybody deserves to give this organization a discount it’s randy as long as we was waiting for him to get off the wwweeeeddd
I agree with you 100%, but I have had several posters tell me that Gregory doesn’t owe Jerry a discount or anything else for sticking by him when no other team would have given Gregory a chance. Maybe I am old fashion , but loyalty and patience are two characteristics that should be rewarded. Gregory would not have a football career if it wasn’t for Jerry Jones. Other teams would not take a phone call from him , but Jerry has stood by him since day 1, with no promise that Randy would ever be able to play. I have to give Jerry credit for that.

Man Gregory looked good

I wonder how many other pot heads would have been good

Jarwin’s cap cost in 2022 is $6.25 million.
In 2023 his cap cost is $7.25 million.

But he could be cut after this season, and he would only cost $2 million in dead cap.

If we want to keep Schultz, we can easily keep him over Jarwin.
